The best!

"Ky Para-Soy Tart & Votive Blend Wax is hands down the best wax for wax melts, I've tried many different brands this hands down the best and easiest to work with."

Perfect for beginners

"I have never made candles or wax tarts before. I wanted something with a very strong hot throw and that was beginner friendly. I decided on all paraffin for my wax tarts and I'm so glad I bought this. The scent throw is absolutely amazing and it is so easy to use if you follow the instructions. It's very forgiving of mistakes."

WOW!!! Let me just say th. . .

"WOW!!! Let me just say this is by far THE BEST paraffin wax blend out there. . PERIOD! I've been using KY Para/Soy blend for my tarts and clamshells and although I do like it I was looking for a wax with a stronger scent throw. After researching online for months and testing different types of wax (Soy, Para/Soy and straight paraffin) I came across KY 133 Paraffin Blend and I ordered a 5 lb to sample. Oh boy! I was in complete shocked! Not only the tarts and clamshells came out looking beautiful, the cold scent throw was outstanding. So I waited 24 hrs (instead of 3 weeks for the para/soy blend) and I could smell it immediately. Creamy, yummy and SUPPER strong hot scent throw, one 1oz tart lasted almost 8-10 hrs. . WOW!! NO cure time and I get the best scent throw EVER! Like I said I do like their Para/Soy blend but the curing time it's too long for me and from my experience this wax is way better!! I just can't get enough. Thank you Rustic Escentuals. . this one is a winner. Advantages: NO Curing Time at all!!Beautiful and creamy tartsOUTSTANDING cold/hot scent throwEasy to work with. . no mess! Disadvantages: None"

I guess Im the only on. . .

"I guess Im the only one who absolutely loathed this was. I rarely leave negative reviews but I purchased this based on the rave reviews here and we clearly arent using the same thing! It says it requires a rep our but this creates the craziest looking sink holes that the wicks are distorted and pulled out of place everytime. They shrink like no ones business. I couldnt wait to use up the last of this wax as I didnt want to waste money. I will not be repurchasing. I will end on a positive note though, the scent throw hot and cold is great zero cure time needed and the granulated form is super convenient. Advantages: Great hot and cold throw and granulated form is super convenient Disadvantages: Sink holes and shrinkage no matter what the pour temp is."

Awesome wax for Tarts! I . . .

"Awesome wax for Tarts! I begin using this wax after lots of research a year ago to make wax tarts and I love it and so do customers. Its smooth, easy to measure and melt, and already has all the additives it needs. The best part is the cold and hot throw! You arent going to sell much if either is off. I have tarts I made for personal use last August and just pulled a few out to test and they are just as great as when I first made them. Smell phenomenal! Highly recommend and is my go-to wax for tarts. They also pop out of clamshells and tart cups with no issues. Best wax hands-down and great for newbies to try out! Thanks! Advantages: Easy to measure and melt. Awesome Cold and Hot Throw! Disadvantages: None- except for shipping"

Love this wax. I was usin. . .

"Love this wax. I was using the parasoy blend and wanted something with a shorter cure time due to customer demand. I let stand for 3 days then they are ready to go out the door! Advantages: Cuts down on cure timeGreat scent throw"

Q&A

What happens if you melt on stove low heat
The wax can overheat, scorch, and/or create a fire hazard; at best, you run the risk of ruining your wax. It may seem quicker to melt wax directly, but the double boiler method is more efficient, allows for even distribution of heat, and is much safer.
Is this a good wax to start out on mason jar candles?
Yes you can use this wax in containers
what wick do you recommend for this wax if used in candles
Our HTP or CD series wicks work well with this wax.
What is meant by "candles will require a repour"?
When paraffin wax cools, it slowly contracts and causes a sunken dip around the wick. A repour can fix the dip.
Is this wax mixed with Soy? Is it more Paraffin?
This is not mixed with soy. It is a blend of 3 grades of paraffin.
