"I used the lanolin butter to make a hand scrub. I love the product, something I learned is you need a very small amount of this product. It goes a long way. I also used it in my chapstick and it adds a great protection on your lips."

"I have used lanolin for years in lip care products and it's one of my absolute favorite ingredients. I've ordered it from a few places over the years, and the best type is the deodorized pharmaceutical grade because it's absolutely odorless and is a pale sunny yellow color. Lanolin that's not pharmaceutical grade has a strong odor to it and is a deeper color that has almost a faint greenish undertone to it. I've ordered lanolin from WSP in the past, and it was an odorless product, so I thought it would be the same now. I was running low on my supply of lanolin (ordered from elsewhere when I order materials from another supplier), so decided to add a small tub to my most recent WSP order for fragrance oils to see me through for a bit. Holy cow. . . was I shocked. It is NOT the same as I've received in the past from WSP and I'm thankful I only ordered a small container. This has a strong ""sheepy"" odor and is the typical deeper murkier color. Anyone who is familiar with sheep and lanolin that hasn't been deodorized will know what I'm talking about. As soon as I opened the package and could see the color through the jar, I knew based on the color this isn't the odorless lanolin. I see other reviews here talking about ""finally a lanolin without an unpleasant odor"". . . . and that used to be the case with WSP when I've ordered it in the past, but what I received this time is certainly not the same as what I've received before. :-("
