Directions:

DIRECTIONS: This product provides a natural botanical element to products. It is great for aromatic, hand blended potpourri, bath tea and embellishing soap. Incorporate slowly amount desired to achieve optimal performance. When added to a formula containing water, a preservative is required. When using in lotions, salves and lip balm, infuse the petals in oil and use the infused oil in your recipe.

TIPS: Some herbs and botanicals will brown overtime when exposed to hot liquids and high pH. When testing a new recipe that contains botanicals, be sure to allow your finished product to sit for 2-4 weeks to ensure you are pleased with appearance and performance.

STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase.

COMMENTS: Just because a bath tea blend may already have lavender buds, does not mean you don’t need to buy separate lavender buds. I am extremely grateful to have bought these separately from the bath tea blends. I use it to add that signature whiff when a customer opens the bottle to the collection I use these in.

COMMENTS: Somehow I have become the designated bath salt product tester for our business. Mainly because I love to take baths I guess. These lavender buds definitely add a special flare to our bath salt and scrubs. In the bale jar containers, it looks beautiful! However, once in the tub, the buds look a little less pretty and a little more like something a furry critter might leave behind. In addition, they tend to stick to the body a little more than other botanical we add to our salts. While I love lavender, the bath aftermath is no fault of the product, it is just nature's design.

COMMENTS: I sprinkled on top of my lavender swirl cold process soap. I suggest you pat down the lavender buds. I also used in bathbombs. Smells lightly like lavender. "Scent Lasts and Lasts"

COMMENTS: A little goes a looong way in a bath bomb or a bar. The scent lasts even after a couple of uses, free floating in a tub. These do require cleanup after letting them loose in a tub but if they remain, the scent lasts for a few baths which is pretty remarkable. Soaking will also allow the bud to open and release even more scent. These are excellent quality.

COMMENTS: Such a versatile product. I have use these in my bath fizzies at a small amount for decoration. Also used in M&P soap for both deco and scrubbing properties...I made my 1st m&P using these and loved the result. "Lovely!"

COMMENTS: I've used these lavender buds in French milled rebatch soap. I generally grind up the buds a little bit, because they are such a nice, big size. Some other brands that I've used in the past were more green than lavender, and I was not happy with how the color changed my soap away from a purplish-hue. However, this Crafter's Choice brand has bigger buds, so they do stay more purple. Very happy with it.

COMMENTS: I love that these come packed and so easy to work with. I make a Lavender Calendula Soap with these, I puree them along with some Calendula Petals in the blender. Sells like crazy. "Love Lavender"

COMMENTS: I'm already a big fan of lavender but these were great. They smell amazing and look wonderful topped on my soap bars. I gave my soap time to set before topping it off with these and some did sink slightly into the soap and had caused a discoloration to the soap around them; the discoloration did not spread far from the buds. After a week they are still holding their color well so I'm not sure if they'll brown as I thought they might or if they'll hold their color. The buds that had sunk into the soap bar did go from the soft purple to a blue tone, while the discoloring around them were a deep blue shade.

COMMENTS: I use lavender buds sparingly for decoration on the tops of my lavender cold process soap. These are very nice whole buds with a nice aroma. Over time, the buds will turn brownish in cp soap, so I don't stir them in - just sprinkle them on top. The 2 oz bag of lavender buds goes a long way.

"Beautiful in every way."

COMMENTS: They are great to throw on top of the soap. They look beautiful and they smell beautiful too. I love the deep purple color and the scent stays fresh a very, very long time.

COMMENTS: I used these in my bath bombs and they worked great. They didn't turn brown right away and they smell lovely, of lavender. Will buy again and would recommend.

	"Amazing Fragrance"
COMMENTS: I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the bag. The fragrance is just phenomenal! Fresh, pure, and strong. The first time I used these, I suspended them in a clear melt and pour base. They looked beautiful for about a week, then turned brown. As I learned, you can't suspend these or any dried botanical (except Calendula) in melt and pour soap. After that, I infused them in coconut oil and use the oil as an additive, thereby imparting the amazing fragrance into my soap. I also have started sprinkling the buds on top of the bar before wrapping, giving the soaps a boost of lavender fragrance and a pretty appearance. Time will tell if they turn brown, but if they do, it's because that's what dried botanicals do - it's not because these aren't top quality lavender buds. They are.

	"Very strong"
COMMENTS: These buds are very strong. I used them in an herbal infusion and belly balm. When cooking the infusion the aroma filled my apartment and lasted for days, it was wonderful! The scent is also in the belly balm even though I didn't think I used enough of the oil. Very good quality.

COMMENTS: These buds are beautiful! I haven't used them yet but they sure do smell wonderful and there aren't any stems!!! My house smells like lavender and the buds are still in the bag! I can't wait to put them in my lavender CP soap - they are so beautiful looking! So glad I got the premium grade - worth the few extra bucks!
