No Scent at all

"I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but this FO has no scent at all. Even if I put my nose directly over the bottle, There is no scent. I did a small test batch in my liquid soap to see if it would bloom in a soap base. . . nothing. I will not buy this again as I feel I just wasted money on an 8 oz bottle of nothing."

Great scent

"Maybe I haven't smelled enough varieties of mint and lavender, but I agree with another review that I don't smell either. However, the scent is still wonderful all on its own. It does have very earthy tones and is very wonderfully blended. Also, when I soaped with it, it behaved perfectly."

Amazing smell but watch out

"Like others have said, this smells different in the bottle. It's very strong at first but it's smells so nice in my soap when I'm done. Be careful though. I use a lard and coconut recipe and if you're oils are too hot this fragrance oil will accelerate like crazy. I'm talking catastrophic volcano."

Complex scent*hard to describe

"This is a strong scent straight out of the bottle. I agree with another review that I was on the fence initially, but have grown to love it. This is a scent that smells different in the bottle, in your medium/application, and on your skin, but carries the heart of itself throughout. To me, I didn't detect lavender or mint until I after I used in the shower with my MP soap. It has a pleasant masculine overtone that leans toward a complex clean scent. Very pleasant, but not a definitive lavender or mint fragrance, IMHO."

Strong at first

"Straight out of the bottle, this smelled really strong, almost like cologne. I used it in hot process soap, and the smell gave me a headache. But after letting the soap sit for a few days, the scent softened, and now I love it."
