"No Scent at all"
COMMENTS: I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but this FO has no scent at all. Even if I put my nose directly over the bottle, There is no scent. I did a small test batch in my liquid soap to see if it would bloom in a soap base...nothing. I will not buy this again as I feel I just wasted money on an 8 oz bottle of nothing.

"Great scent"
COMMENTS: Maybe I haven't smelled enough varieties of mint and lavender, but I agree with another review that I don't smell either. However, the scent is still wonderful all on its own. It does have very earthy tones and is very wonderfully blended. Also, when I soaped with it, it behaved perfectly.

"Amazing smell but watch out"
COMMENTS: Like others have said, this smells different in the bottle. It’s very strong at first but it’s smells so nice in my soap when I’m done. Be careful though. I use a lard and coconut recipe and if you’re oils are too hot this fragrance oil will accelerate like crazy. I’m talking catastrophic volcano.

"Complex scent*hard to describe"
COMMENTS: This is a strong scent straight out of the bottle. I agree with another review that I was on the fence initially, but have grown to love it. This is a scent that smells different in the bottle, in your medium/application, and on your skin, but carries the heart of itself throughout. To me, I didn't detect lavender or mint until I after I used in the shower with my MP soap. It has a pleasant masculine overtone that leans toward a complex clean scent. Very pleasant, but not a definitive lavender or mint fragrance, IMHO.

"Strong at first"
COMMENTS: Straight out of the bottle, this smelled really strong, almost like cologne. I used it in hot process soap, and the smell gave me a headache. But after letting the soap sit for a few days, the scent softened, and now I love it.

"OH HOLY WOW! "
COMMENTS: This is a GORGEOUS blend of lavender & mint, but there is so much more going on in this blend than just that! This one is so hard for me to describe in a way that would do it justice, but every note is blended in such exquisite harmony that nothing outshines the other! The lavender in this blend is outstanding! First I could catch hints of a more camphorous-like lavender, like a fragrant Bulgarian type, but then I'd get gentle whiffs of a sweeter, more floral-like lavender, like the French variety! So no matter which type of lavender you prefer, this FO has got you covered! And then there's the mint! What a perfect blend of mint! This is not harsh or overdone by ANY means! This is a mint that complements beautifully! Think: Freshly-clipped, garden mint, not an overwhelming peppermint-type. This is in every way, an organic, botanical mint! The whole blend itself is fresh, dewy & botanical-smelling, but then there's this alluringly subtle nuance of something warm & enveloping in the background that I can only best describe as "creamy" (if that makes any sense!). What I'm smelling is the serene richness of a very tranquil sandalwood note at its very base that's so elegantly placed, it doesn't jump out and dominate the blend, rather just lends a whisper of opulent depth without adding any sort of "heaviness" to the fragrance. It maintains an essence of refreshing, botanical softness while still being wonderfully fragrant and blissfully dimensional! I completely ADORE this FO and think it's an absolute masterpiece! I made soap with it right away, and WOW does it just blossom in application! I had zero issues soaping with this zen-like fragrance, and in EVERY way it's truly exceptional! My review doesn't do it justice, but I wholeheartedly recommend it! I also recommend just going for a bigger size because you'll wish you did if you don't!

"smells amazing!!"
