"I've been using this one for many years, the only lav vanilla I will use. Works well in soap, lotions, candles and body spray"
"I've used this in one of my perfume oils, mixed with some amber, tobacco, and muskier scents. . . and the leather still carries through beautifully! It's quite a strong scent, one that I think shines its best with another fragrance! I've used a bit with another perfume blend too- this time with sandalwood and rain, and it mixes wonderfully with that as well! I think you could add this into any earthier/muskier blend, and have amazing results and have the leather scent still carry through!"
"I really like this FO. It's got a clean, fresh scent that smells like a new leather jacket. I mixed it with Roasted Coffee and it smells amazing! And it behaved well. I've got plans to use it again."
"Acceleration: SlightI think it's more than slight. I would call this a moderate acceleration; you can work it. . . if you want to plop, but don't try a delicate swirl. I used this fragrance to make a batch of soap dough for a project I have. I added it to my oils just after emulsion, blended it in to a light trace, when to grab the molds. . . and it was a thick custard / pudding consistency. My recipe is 45% olive oil, 15% grapeseed oil, 5% castor oil, 25% babassu oil, & 10% shea butter; totaling 65% liquid & 35% solid oils. It doesn't trace THAT quickly. I did use a 2:1 lye water solution. I would recommend trying to NOT stick blend with this fragrance. Other than that, yes it changes the color of your batter, I haven't seen it after cure yet, and it smells INTOXICATINGLY like leather. I would definitely recommend. . . but think the soaping notes are slightly misleading."
"Everyone loves this smell, men and women! Smells like a new car new. . new leather! So fresh!"
"Great leather scent that has a strong hot throw! I blend it with tobacco and it smells fantastic!"
"I ordered the 1 oz bottle of this during the sale. It was suggested by a fellow soap maker as a great blender with other fragrance oils. Oh, Yes and I will be ordering more to use solo. I cannot stop sniffing my curing soap. Advantages: Soaped beautifully and a week into the cure, I have noticed no discoloration in the batter colored with a creamy white mica."
"Used in soy wax candles, this is a really nice rich leather scent. Definitely recommend."
"This an amazing leather scent! Everyone loves it!"
