"He said it smelled like cleaner" |
| COMMENTS: I picked this lemon fragrance oil as a promotional freebie to give it a try and also because the reviews said it smelled exactly like lemons and not like dust cleaner. I just finished making soap using it in a blend along with basil and bergamot essential oils. My son passed by as I was cleaning up and said what is that smell? I told him and he said it smells industrial, like cleaner. HaHa. It could be a combo of the fragrance oil and the essential oils, but I sure hope it doesn't smell like cleaner when the soap is done curing. Otherwise, it behaved well. | |

"Nice lemon scent, good value, well behaved in CP" | ||||||
| COMMENTS: This Lemon Slices is a really nice lemon scent that sticks well in CP soap. I tested it against Rustic Ecsentuals Lemon Verbena 15745. They both behaved well, no acceleration, ricing or anything else. A couple weeks after unmolding, the scent is still strong on both. Out of 4 people, one person thought Lemon Slices had a slight chemical smell. But, one strongly disagreed and thought it was a brighter, fresher scent than the Lemon Verbena. I did not detect a chemical smell (but I have terrible smeller...) in the Lemon Slices. But, I thought the Lemon Verbena has a really nice herbal note that I love. This is a great buy! | |||||||

"True lemon" |
| COMMENTS: This is a great lemon scent OOB. Soaps beautifully with no A or D. Faded after pouring, but improved with the cure. At four months, bars are still distinctly "lemon", though, as with most citrus oils, there was some fading. Definitely one of the best lemons in terms of scent retention, though. I tested at 5% of my oils, but would increase to 6%. This is a great blender, as well. Lovely in all bath and body applications. | |

| COMMENTS: I had tried using lemon eo in my HP and that was a fail. I used this fo for the first time in the late spring and I now have a fair number of customers who are addicted to it's freshness and the true lemon scent that it has. Personally I have looked most of my life for a good lemon scented soap to use in the shower. If I did find one, it was ALWAYS yellow and I think that was to remind you that it was lemon because it sure didn't smell lemony. Now I am making my very own and frankly, I don't think people would be stopped from buying it if I colored it black Advantages: Crisp. Clean. Doesnt smell like pledge. Wakes you up in your morning shower and refreshes you from a long hot day in your evening shower. Disadvantages: None | |

| COMMENTS: I used to use the Lemon Fragrance Oil - FF# 2 and they made it so you can only buy 25 gallons at a time. I tried this Lemon Slices Fragrance Oil 15741 and it smells just like Pledge. I have no idea what these other people are smelling but I cannot use it. Bring back the smaller quantities if FF#2. | |
