Cold Process Soap Test Results:

We test fragrances with the recipe of 50% olive oil, 20% sunflower oil,
15% coconut 76, 10% shea butter, 5% castor. No water discount.

"Lemon Cleaner smell"

COMMENTS: It doesn't smell like the lemon sugar I remember, but very much like a cleaner. It's very fresh and potent and instead of using it in bath products like I originally planned, I will add to my linen sprays and cleaners. It's great for a house but not desirable for body products (in my opinion).

"Smells like Vicks VaporRub"

COMMENTS: I am a fragrance oil-aholic...Love trying out new fragrances. I very rarely find a fragrance that I don't like and absolutely love fruity fragrances! This one I have to say smells exactly like the Vicks VaporRub I used as a kid with a bit of lemon mixed in. I was expecting it to smell sweet with lemon and needless to say I was very disappointed with this one. Sadly, I cannot recommend this one (unless you are looking for one that smells like Vicks).

"Smelled like Bathroom cleaner"

COMMENTS: I was really excited to try this fragrance since I have been lookiing for a good fresh lemon sugar fragrance for my bath bombs. This particular frangrance was very disappointing to me because it smells like bathroom cleaner. I thought it was just me so I made a sample batch of bath bombs with it but without me even asking my son said they smelled like a bathroom. I have enjoyed other fragrance oils from WSP. This was my first disappointing one:(.

"Lightening Fast acceleration"

COMMENTS: The moment I added this fragrance it seized in two separate batches. I thought it was due to me adding it primarily to one color so I tried it again and it's definitely the fragrance, not the recipe or the temp. I made a large batch to make embeds with the leftover soap and the soap was workable after this had been poured and covered. (Different fragrance). If you are making a single color batch this would be fine but save some with no coloring to pour over the top or it will be trash.

"ACCELERATOR!"

COMMENTS: Be very careful! The first batch I made SEIZED! The second batch I made using 3% ppo I was able to bring to trace QUICKLY by hand mixing! Love the smell but it is a challenge if wanting to use in a swirl!

"Lovely, Fresh, & Sweet - Seized in CP"

COMMENTS: This scent is really divine OOB and in bath and body products. Everyone that smells it loves the balanced fresh sweetness. Not like cleaner or pledge at all to my nose. Just fresh lemon with a hint of sugar. My son took a whiff and declared, "lemonade!". Unfortunately, it seized in cold process for me. No discoloration noted, though.

COMMENTS: I got this one to try to see what it was like and I love it! Very nice lemon scent without smelling like pledge. It's one of my favorite scents. I just ordered more so I can make cold process soap. I already tried it in melt and pour and I have a soap I made months ago and still smells fantastic. Get this fragrance, you will love it!

"Refreshing Lemon Scent"

COMMENTS: This is one of my best sellers (year round). People that thought Lemon Verbena was a little too powerful love this light, refreshing sweet lemon scent. Not sweet like lemon mer. pie, but a hint of sweetness. I will have to keep this in stock so that I don't run out!

"Great sugary lemon scent, perfect for summer"

COMMENTS: I really like this Lemon scent, most lemon fragrance oils smell like cleaner to me but not this one, it also mixed great with a strawberry fragrance oil that I had to make a delicious strawberry lemonade CP soap. This fragrance oil behaves very well in CP soap, I will be getting a bigger bottle next time I order.

COMMENTS: This is one of my best sellers! A very clean scent! This fragrance does contain vanilla, but I've found that I don't need to use a vanilla color stabilizer with it. Maybe the vanilla content is super low? It seems like it takes forever for it to change color. That's a big plus in my book!
