Work fast when using Leucidal Liquid PT

"I was excited when I learned there was an all natural preservative for my lotions. When I started working with it I quickly found out it thickens your lotion much too quickly. You will need a syringe or a pump or a dessert decorator tool of some sort to pump it into your bottles. It makes the lotion too thick to use the petite treatment top, but does ok with the top that comes with the malibu bottles. My next recipe I may try leaving the stearic acid out and see how thick my lotion becomes. As the description indicated it does add additional conditioning and moisturizing properties to my lotion recipe. As an organic farmer and bee keeper and an author for how to make natural skin care, I will continue to add it to all my lotions."

Q&A

I'm planning to make a body lotion which includes chamomile extract, honeyquat, oatmeal, shea butter, sweet almond oil. Can I just use the leucidal liquid sf ax only or do I still need to use 4% with AmTicide coconut ?Thanks
Per the manufacturer's recommendation, you will want to use both preservatives in this recipe.
I'm creating a micellar water shampoo for fine hair. Would I be able to use this with AMTicide Coconut to preservative this formula since it's mostly water? We're thinking water, a touch of coco betaine, water soluble extracts FO modifier, FO, and a paraben-free preservative.
You can test this, but you must use with broad spectrum antimicrobials to provide extra protection.
Is this paired with AMTicide Coconut a safe preservation system for lip products?
We only recommend the preservatives for use in cleansing water.
How long will leucidal sf max typically extend the shelf life of an aqueous product like a toner ? Thank u
When combined with AMTicide Coconut, it should last 1 year.
Is the expiration date of Leucidal Liquid SF Max 1 year from date of purchase?
That is what we recommend, yes.
