"This Essential oil is essential for many of our blends. Really nice quality, not bitter like many. Tropical and fresh, it will perk up and deepen citrus, tropical and coconut fragrances. Great for a bit more excitement with cucumber blends, too. We add 1/8 oz or a bit more per pound of oil to the main fragrance depending on what result we are looking for. Beware, that when adding to body sprays, room sprays, etc. , it will cloud the liquid."

"I love using essential oils and lime is definitely one of my favorites. I was unsure about the quality of this essential oil because of the low price, but as soon as I put a couple drops in my oil defuser I could see that this EO is just as good (if not better) than the kind I'm used to paying about $35 for a bottle half this size! "Love lime in bath products! This one is definitely on the sweeter side, does not have that tart, sour note that distilled lime EO's do (this one is cold pressed). Holds up well over time in CP soap and I even have luck with it sticking through HP rebatching. I do use litsea EO at a rate of 5% of my total volume of lime to help as an anchor."

Is this distilled or cold presses?
This essential oil is Cold Expressed.
I have a lot of people asking if your oils can be added to food or rubbed on teeth or added to water for flavor. Is it safe for them to do that?
None of our oils are meant for consumption. They are for external use only.
I need to use Lime EO for some MP soap. What % do you recommend per pound of Goat's Milk MP?Thank you!
All of our MP Soap Bases list the maximum amount of FO or EO that it will easily accept. To Goat's Milk MP Soap Base you can add up to 1% Essential Oil, which is about 5 ml per pound of soap.
Does this have a bitter or sweet lime fragrance? I am looking for a more bitter lime EO to blend with my sweet.
This smells literally like a fresh cut lime. Which seems like a more bitter smell.
