"Fragrance Improved in CP Soap. Nice Color." |
| COMMENTS: We blindly ordered this FO on a whim. Upon opening the bottle, we weren't crazy about the initial fragrance profile, but after implementing it into a batch of cold process goat milk soap, the scent bloomed into a well balanced final product. I added a touch of titanium dioxide. Upon cutting the bars, the color was a creamy white, but after about 12 hours, the interior color showed as being a faint, pastel dusty rose hue - What a nice surprise for making a uniquely colored bar of soap. I suspect "papain," an enzyme inherent in papayas might be credited with the final color change to the soaps interior. | |

| COMMENTS: I have only used it in lip balms, but its still one of my top sellers. It's a wonderful scent for summertime. It is the perfect blend of papaya and mango - so fruity and tropical! Each time that I use this, it makes the room smell JUST like I'm walking into a well-known smoothie shop. No joke! This is another one that I end up selling out of very quickly. However, when I used it in cold process soap the smell turned into something totally different. I was super disappointed after being so excited by the smell. Performance in cp soap was fine. No noted acceleration, ricing, or discoloration. I'll stick to balms and lotions and not soap. | |||||||

"Soap Never Hardened" |
| COMMENTS: Although this FO smells divine, it was not nice to me at all. I made 3 separate batches of CP with it and my soap never hardened enough to take out of the mold. Even after a week of sitting in the mold, a pop in the freezer, nothing helped me get it out of the mold. It never seized on me and my recipe allowed me plenty of time to separate, color and swirl. It didn't crack, overheat, change the color of the soap loaf but for whatever reason, it didn't like me. | |

| COMMENTS: After reading many reviews and seeing the high rating I really had high hopes for this scent. I did see a few reviews that compared the scent to orange, citrus, and even orange creamsicle. when it arrived I was shocked by how much it smelled like orange citrus. Not a hint of mango or papaya. So sad. I tried to brainwash myself into liking since I had told customers a new scent was coming called Mango Papaya and it hurt that I had to scrap this scent and start over in my search of another great Mango scent. this is hands down, ORANGE CITRUS. nothing close to what its labeled as. | |||||||

| COMMENTS: I saw the positive reviews and had high hopes for this fragrance however I was disappointed when I opened the bottle to give it a whif. It's a nice fragrance but it doesn't smell like mango papaya. It actually smells more like orange, or a orange creamsicle or orange ice-cream and my customers agree that it's nice but it's no mango papaya. I live in the Caribbean and have both of these fruits growing in my yard so I know first hand what the fragrance is really supposed to mimic. Will try other fruity fragrances. | |||||||

"Work Quickly!!" | ||||||
| COMMENTS: Great scent out of the bottle. I used this in CP soap. I work at super low temperatures (75-85*F) and only stick blended to just past emulsification. I hand stirred this fragrance in and it accelerated like no other! Not only did it not want to mix in (kept separating), it thickened up the batter so fast. I had planned for a drop swirl, but ended up having to plop this into the mold as quickly as possible. I barely had time to stick my embeds on top before the whole loaf was as hard as a rock. I did use a vanilla color stabilizer, so I don't know if that added to the acceleration? I love the scent, it is a bummer it is so hard to work with. I'll just be using this for bath products from now on. | |||||||

| COMMENTS: This smelled fantastic when I first poured it, but after it cured it smelled like sweet cigar smoke. Not horrible, but not what I was going for. I'm not sure if it was my recipe (I used Greek yogurt in it), but it was the first time I used it. I will try again. Maybe I messed it up. It did discolor the soap to a more tan color, but that was expected since I did not use a color stabilizer. | |||||||
