Love this lotion!

"I made lotion for the first time using this kit and it turned out great! The lotion is lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth. I swapped the fragrance so I can't comment about the marshmallow scent. A few things I noted: I had 12 ounces of lotion left after filling the 6 included bottles and I hadn't thought to purchase extra bottles in advance. Also, the small bag of mica only held about 1. 5 teaspoons, not the 4 teaspoons the recipe called for. I used the whole bag but didn't really notice any shimmer in the lotion. The instructions were easy to follow, but it took this newbie 2 hours from start to finish. I'm loving this lotion and can't wait to share it with friends! I would totally buy this kit again."

Pass the bacon please

"While this is a nice scent, I thought it would have a little more bacon scent. . . . it seems a little on the sweet side. . . . I may not buy this again for that reason/pass this one up. . ."

Smells great. . . seizes even better!

"The wonderful maple-y, bacon-y fragrance in the bottle will make your mouth water. The way it behaves will make you cry. Soaped at room temp, planning a pinkish and brown stripe to mimic bacon strips. The batter was fluid, the soap gods were smiling. . . until I added the f. o. Riced, siezed, and then heated at an alarming rate. Not even stick-blending helped. So disappointed. Might try again with M&P, but I will never consider this for cp again."

So Unique

"My customers and I love it. It is such a unique scent and is selling as stocking stuffers. I also add chocolate to some and that sells out fast. It's a keeper for me and not too strong."

Great for fall

"After reading reviews i decided not to try this in CP, i have used it in wax melts only and i adore the sweet and smokey aroma."

Used in CP & M&P soap

"A friend wanted a bacon scented soap so I made both M&P and a CP soap with it. They liked it more in M&P than the CP. They said it didn't smell as ""bacony"" in the CP soap."

Sugary bacon goodness!

"Very sugary, but you can definitely smell the bacon. I would venture to say there's more maple syrup going on here than bacon, but my customers love it nonetheless. I wouldn't say it smells overwhelmingly greasy. I love it though! Hubs does too!"

Causes over heating!

"As soon as I added the fragrance my batter seized up!! Tried it on two different recipes thinking it was the oil I was using! Might be better for melt and pour."

Q&A

Would this be safe to use in candle making?
Yes, this can be used in candles.
Maple Bacon Fragrance says 50% in soap? Please tell me that is a typo...that is ALOT of fragrance!
Hi Kimberly, The 50.5% for soaps that you are seeing is the IFRA Maximum Skin Exposure Level. This is the maximum that is safe to use in soap for your skin, but not necessarily the maximum you should use. Our "Ingredients and Directions" tab has more information about choosing the percentage to use. We also have a video that explains it, Click Here.
I find no information in the description concerning vanilla content in this fragrance oil. Does it contain any vanilla?
It says the vanilla content is 3.10%
