A juicy blend of ripe mango, papaya and watery melon.

Cold Process Soap Test Results:

We test fragrances with the recipe of 50% olive oil, 20% sunflower oil,
15% coconut 76, 10% shea butter, 5% castor. No water discount.

"Smells wonderful, but caused issues"

COMMENTS: I purchased this fragrance for a very basic cold process recipe. Unfortunately, the fragrance oil, while smelling quite lovely, caused acceleration. This led to loss of design, which ultimately led to rebatching the soap for personal use. Sadly, I can not recommend this oil for that use, though it may work well for other purposes.

"Fave melon scent"

COMMENTS: I love the smell of this! A melon that *doesn't* smell like watermelon candy! However next time I will double the fragrance as it isn't super strong.

COMMENTS: Couldn’t make much of a design. I had to split my batch down in order to do a minimal design. Definitely not beginner friendly. Smells amazing but not worth the trouble. I wouldn’t purchase again.

"FO Needs Formulation Improvement"

COMMENTS: I made a watermelon themed cold process soap. My recipe contained Olive, Coconut, Palm, Sweet Almond and Castor Oils. I did a Kaolin Clay Slurry and left it for over a week. After reading the reviews I came up with a plan to make my soap to avoid all the bad reviews this fo had. It performed well during the soap making process but upon unmolding the soap to cut .... POOF!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY NO SCENT! Sigh. That was total disappointment for me.

COMMENTS: I have used this in CP, MP, and wax melts. It's great in MP and wax, but I've found it really doesn't stick in CP. I love this scent though, and so do customers. They all say it's like cantaloupe.

"Nice and sweet"

COMMENTS: The fragrance is so sweet with a slight tartness to it. I used this in a CP pumice soap. After curing the smell was virtually gone! Bummer!

"Great Smell"

COMMENTS: I love the smell of this fragrance. I soap at room temperature and add my fragrance last and I have to tell you this is a great scent. I had no issues, except the slightest of acceleration, which I was happy with because of design. Fragrance still very nice after 24 hours. I had added Kaolin clay to fragrance in hopes of retaining it longer, due to some previous reviews. I am not sure if that helped, but hoping it was actually that I (always) soap at room temp. My husband came in the room and commented how nice it smelled. Only gave it a Very good rating because of the short time of curing so far. Thanks for a wonderful scent.

COMMENTS: This is a great smelling fragrance but for hot process soap not so much. I made three test batches and the last batch I used the maximum rate and the scent still faded. The fragrance was added at 160. This fragrance could be great for bath bombs.

"Very True Melon"

COMMENTS: Yummy and very true to melon. The most realistic I have ever smelt. It is super duper yummy. Used this in lotion for my girls and they begged for body splash in the same fragrance. Love this!

	"Accelerated"
COMMENTS: I combined this scent with a cucumber scent to make a cucumber melon soap. I soaped at around 120F, split into multiple colors and nearly got soap on a stick before I could get it into the mold. I had to scrape the soap out of my containers to get it into the mold, and after that it was chunky. I do not believe the cucumber fragrance I used it with was the issue as I have used that fragrance in other batches with no problem. I do like the scent though so if I were to use this again, I would soap at room temp and fix the fragrance in by hand immediately before pouring.

"Pretty good for a melon scent"

COMMENTS: I say pretty good b/c there is an ever so slight chemical smell out of the bottle. I mix it with other FO as a mid note, I don't think it is strong enough on it's own--but it works very well when I use it in this way. It is however better than most "watermelons". I'm on my second bottle.

"Sold out fast"

COMMENTS: This went into beer soap for a brewery and sold out in less than a week! It held through nicely in HP soap, behaved well and stirred in easily. It's bright, not too sweet, very fruity and not artificial smelling. This will be a staple fragrance for me all spring and summer.

"Not my Fave"

COMMENTS: I tried this FO as a summer fragrance in some bath bombs. I found it choking-ly strong and hoped it would mellow out as it cures but it did not. Melons are one of our family's go-to fruits this time of year but this interpretation was a disappointment. The aroma lingered quite a while...so it definitely has staying power. That's a good thing, right?

COMMENTS: This fragrance is awesome. The only thing is that I wish it held it scent more. It's very light not too sweet which is nice and it does smell like Melons. It's when I make CP or CPOP that it has a tendency to loose some of it's fragrance. So I thought I give it another try with CPOP, but this time I added Kaolin Clay to my recipe and BAM!!!! it worked, the scent held beautifully and it a must now for me. Thank you WSP!

"Can't keep this scent in stalk "

COMMENTS: This is one of my best sellers. My mother in law and sister in law can't get enough of this scent and have spread the word! In cold process soap it does rice. I always mix my mica colors first and add the fragrance in while my stick blender is still in that color. It of course makes the fragrance move a little faster because of the extra stick blending, however it is still easy to work with and I can still get great swirls. I used it and 5 different colors the other day and still had plenty of time to make a great soap. I even piped on the top.

"Good scent"

COMMENTS: Not my favorite melon but not bad either. I was forewarned it might accelerate so I warmed the scent and had everything prepped to go. I had enough time to do a three color swirl, but it does accelerate a little. Work quickly and you can get the design done. I add scent to one color at a time.

"Not worth it"

COMMENTS: This was horrible in CP soap. It smelled like medicine out of the bottle, but I used it any way as I was needing it for an outdoor melon festival. About 4 weeks into the cure, it morphed from tolerable and light to the horrible medicine fragrance. I about cried. So I rebatched and this time used Cashmere and Pear FO as it is what I had on hand and, funny enough, smelled like melon to both me and my daughter and it worked! As suggested by others, I did use the Melon Ball in scrubs and bombs. It was especially popular in the bombs and sold well. It held a good scent in these products. I will not buy again, because If I can't use a scent across all lines, then it is not worth the time and money to me.

"Amazing"

	"Best Melon FO I've Found !!!"
COMMENTS: I used this FO to make heart shaped M&P soaps and paired it with bath bomb fizzies. I LOVE this FO. It's strong but not over powering. A little goes a long way therefore it makes it economical to use. The scent has been in my M&P soaps for a month now and it holding up well.

	"Fresh juicy scent"
COMMENTS: I'm not sure this smells like melons, but it smells good and fruity! More like fruit punch to me. It works well in both MP and CP. My CP did accelerate a bit but nothing you can't handle if you are prepared for it. The results are worth the effort, because the smell holds very well (used 2%). I think I like fresh fruity scents!

COMMENTS: I absolutely love this fragrance. It is fresh, uplifting and smells just like sweet juicy melon. I use this alone in liquid handsoap and sugar scrubs and it leaves a lovely, clean scent. The fragrance also blends well with many others. For laundry detergent and fabric softener I blend it with Lemongrass, Cotton, and a little Jasmine, and it smells better than anything I could buy in the store. Melon Ball is a must-have.

"Nice summer scent"

COMMENTS: I would reorder this scent as well. I think this is a fun summer scent. I only make cold process soap, so I would increase the amount I used the next time. It seems a little light. But, with that said, the scent smells like summer fun. A hint of melons and strawberries.

COMMENTS: I used this in cold process soap about 3 weeks ago, and had no problem with acceleration as others have, at .9 oz ppo. Three weeks and scent is still strong, a very nice, un-synthetic smelling scent. I also used it in a sugar scrub that i colored green and everyone who tries it just loves it.
