Cold Process Soap Test Results:

We test fragrances with the recipe of 50% olive oil, 20% sunflower oil,
15% coconut 76, 10% shea butter, 5% castor. No water discount.

"Is the Monoi de Tahiti Fragrance Oil 127 the fragrance used in the Monoi Butter Blend you previously carried? I am wanting to either reorder that blend or make a replacement for that discontinued product. Thank you."

	"Lush and beautiful with a little fiddling "
COMMENTS: I think this fragrance feels just a tiny bit synthetic on its own, so in my opinion it needs a little nudging. I added about 20% of a "fresh type" non-vanillic coconut like Coconut Milk Sorbet, a splash of Hawaiian Sandalwood, and a smidgen of Neroli. This rounded the fragrance and gave it that lush, intoxicating quality that I was looking for, and that tropical flowers naturally posses. Smells wonderful !

"Beautiful scent. Seized up fast."

COMMENTS: The product description stated that there was slight acceleration. This oil caused my batch of soap to seize up almost immediately. Didn't experience any ricing but I don't think it would matter or even be noticed due to the significant acceleration. I did the best I could getting it into the mold. They will not be the prettiest bars but they will smell divine. Worked beautifully in my homemade lotion.

"Monoi de Tahiti"

COMMENTS: This is a very subtle tropical fragrance. Since I began using it several years ago, my customers have loved it! I must admit, it is one of my favorites too and whenever I make some bars with Monoi de Tahiti Fragrance Oil, I make a few extra just for me. Often tropical fragrances need to be mixed with other fragrances. Monoi de Tahiti, however, stands alone. Love it.

"Incredible scent!"

COMMENTS: The scent straight from the bottle is very strong, but in my M&P whipped shaving cream it is absolutely gorgeous! I see a matching bubbly sugar scrub, after-bath cream & lotion bar on the to-do list for tomorrow just for myself! This Monoi de Tahiti doesn't smell "off" like the other company's FO that I tried, but I could imagine that using virgin coconut oil or a coconut cream FO would enhance WSP's version for a more tropical scent.

	"Just ok ---- not quite right "
COMMENTS: I thought this would have a lovely exotic smell with flowers, etc., but.... my first whiff had a chemical smell to it. I kept trying, but the "beautiful" smell is not there. Since I have it, I am going to try to mix it with either a sweet vanilla or maybe a rose or jasmine and/or tuberose. I will know when my nose tells me if/when it right. I hope I can use it with another fragrance and the chemical smell goes away Sorry - but this fragrance was a miss.

"Fragrance so "right on"."

COMMENTS: This is the scent of the Tiari blossom that grows in Tahiti. It is not a gardenia. When I lived in Hawaii there was an "Manoi de Tahiti" oil that we all used to suntan. There was a little dried flower in the bottom of the bottle which was the tiari blossom. My customers flip over this scent. The fragrance is "right on" perfect.

COMMENTS: To me this smells like the ultimate gardenia. But I guess this fragrance is supposed to be coming from a Tahitian gardenia of some sort. I have no clue how gardenias smell in Tahiti or the south pacific in general but this is the best gardenia I ever smelled in a bottle. As for CP, nope! Ricing, acceleration, overheating, fading and a slight yellow discoloration all in one. The soap makers' nightmare. But for the floral-lovers it's worth the sacrifice

COMMENTS: I have ordered so many monoi / tiare scents from other suppliers only to be sorely disappointed, so for a long time I hesitated to try WSP's. Finally, I decided to give it a whirl on my most recent order and boy am I glad I did. I literally held my breath in anticipation of sniffing this scent (how silly does that sound??) for the first time, hoping it would be "the one". It is! This is an absolute SPOT ON fragrance oil! My only regret is that I didn't try it sooner. I couldn't be more pleased and will certainly be back for a larger bottle.

"Absolutely fabulous! "

COMMENTS: This oil smells identical to the flower! Having been to Tahiti and being adorned everywhere with them, the smell instantly took me back to those experiences! I hope to do that with my products for friends, family, and clients! I can't wait to experience even more with the oil! Now if I can come down off the high of the fabulousness of the aroma let's talk about the value WSP offers! For the size of the bottle, the pricing is outstanding! Normally this size bottle is twice the price, so I'm thrilled!

"Beautiful and light"

COMMENTS: This is a very light and almost floral/ herbal to me. Very clean and green smelling with a hint of floral. I guess growing up with the actual flowers has made me jaded lol. You can smell a hint of tiare/gardenia. You will definitely need to use more than suggested as it is a ver mild scent to begin with. Smells clean and green and not sickening sweet at all.

"The best Monoi I've found so far"

"Best Monoi de Tahiti I've ever experienced!"

COMMENTS: This is the best Monoi de Tahiti I've ever experienced. I have a body oil from another company that I've used on my skin for a number of years with the same fragrance name. Comparing the two, this product from your company is the best~~hands down! It really is a treat for the senses, and an easy to use product.
