Warm and slightly spicy bayberry with hints of fir needle.

Cold Process Soap Test Results:

We test fragrances with the recipe of 50% olive oil, 20% sunflower oil,
15% coconut 76, 10% shea butter, 5% castor. No water discount.

"With only 1% vanilla is it still necessary to use the vanilla stabilizer and use it at a 1:2 ratio?"

"PERFUME - NO TREE"

COMMENTS: I ordered 4 Christmas scents and this was the absolute worst. Upsetting since $6. It smells like some perfume from an old lady's dresser! VERY disappointed and just wonder how on Earth it was named for a Christmas tree??! It even has an bit of soapy smell as well, yet too "perfumy" to make a cleanser scent. I have no use for it at all. I guess some could use it for potpourri sachets for drawers.

"Does not smell great, at all"

COMMENTS: I purchased this fragrance oil to make it part of my holiday collection, as I’m sure most people have. And it DOES NOT WHAT SO EVER SMELL LIKE A CHRISTMAS TREE. It actually stunk like a cat had peed on your Christmas tree. I tried mixing it with eucalyptus to try and revive the scent, it’s more bearable, but you can still smell the stench. I’m not sure if it was a bad batch or what, but i definitely would not recommend to anyone. I love WSP, but this scent... NO.

COMMENTS: I bought a christmas FO sample set and this was included. It was one of my favorite of the bunch. I made foaming sugar scrub with it and it had a great Christmas fragrance, not too "earthy," just a good smell.

COMMENTS: I bought this because I thought it would be a great scent for a masculine soap & I'm so glad I did! It smells woodsy without being overwhelming. I was almost afraid it would be too pine-cleaner smelling, but it isn't. It's a great, crisp & clean pine scent that reminds me of taking a walk in the north woods in winter. It's very manly without being oppressive, & pine-y without being too holiday/christmas-y, my husband loves it. It performed very well in CP soap, will definitely order again, any time of year.

	"The perfect Holiday Scent"
COMMENTS: Most Christmas fragrances are overwhelming and way too strong, but this one is perfect. It dosent have that chemical-y smell that happens sometimes with pine type scents. It is mellow and smells more like a lovely Christmas wreath than a Christmas tree. It performed perfect in CP soap and I was able to complete a 2 color hanger swirl with embeds. I also made up some room mist that I will be using as a wreath re-freshener during the holidays.

"Perfect Christmas Scent"

COMMENTS: I used this in my cp soap and wax tarts. For the soap, the fragrance behaved perfectly. No discoloration, acceleration or ricing. I was able to easily do a four color swirl. The aroma is perfect for Christmas time and will appeal to both men and women. It is a wonderfully spicy aroma, mingled with fir needles. It isn't off-putting like so many of the strong, obnoxious pine scents. This is a winner and everyone making Christmas soaps should add this to their collection! For the tarts, the scent makes my house smell so fresh and festive! Great throw!

COMMENTS: I had a different experience than the other goats milk commenter. I had lovely results. Great fragrance even at 3 mos.old . No discoloration and plenty of time to do a swirl.I did not gel. Maybe it depends on other ingredients in the soap recipe as well.
