What type of container does the 1lb come in? Bottle or Jar? If bottle, can I place the palm oil in another container such as a plastic jar? If so what kind of plastic would be safe to use to store this oil in? Would PP #5 be ok?
The 1lb size comes in a 16 oz HDPE Natural Bottle. You can transfer it to a plastic jar, #5 will be fine.
Is this product refined or unrefined?
Hello - Our supplier has confirmed that this palm oil is refined.
Can I use this palm oil in hair care products? If so, what percentage for a leave in conditioner?
You can try this in a small batch, but you'll want to start at a low percentage like 1% and increase as desired.
