Directions

Measure desired amount of base and place in container with pour spout. Add fragrance at 1%. Stir gently but completely to incorporate fragrance. Pour into bottles. Cap and label as desired. We do not recommend adding vegetable or fruit oils/ butters as they will significantly decrease your lather. Aggressive stirring will cause bubbles. Upon use, your bubbles must be clear. Colored bubbles are an indication of too much color. Too much color may dye animal and pet hair. Each fragrance reacts differently in the base.

For external animal use only. Do not ingest. Avoid eyes, nose, and mouth. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

With this have Tea Tree and Rosemary Oil does it smell like tea Tree and rosemary? Wondering if it those oils would affect the end scent of the product.: Our pampering pet shampoo is fragrance free. You made fragrance oils - please review Category 9 on the IFRA sheets to see percentages allowed for pet shampoo.
With this base can i add zinc or sunscreen? And how much? My dogs are white and get sunburned when outside if out a few hrs.: Hello - we do not have any testing information on sunscreen product safety at this time.
Hello, Can I add Cocamidopropyl Betaine to this base to add more lather? and would it still be dog safe?: We don't recommend adding Cocamidopropyl Betaine as there is some information that it is not pet-safe.
Can you add aloe vera liquid to this shampoo and if so at what rate? Would additional preservative be needed?: You could add the Aloe Vera Extract or Aloe Vera Oil to the Pampering Pet Shampoo. Depending on the amount of fragrance or other additives you are using, we would recommend adding about 1%. As always, be sure to test your product.
