Cold Process Soap Test Results:

We test fragrances with the recipe of 50% olive oil, 20% sunflower oil,
15% coconut 76, 10% shea butter, 5% castor. No water discount.

"Floral Fragrance"

COMMENTS: This was not the scent I expected based on the description or other reviews. It is a very floral scent. I was expecting something more earthy and with a stronger patchouli note. I can't even smell patchouli in my soap. Maybe the scent will change as it cures?!?

	" not what I expected"
COMMENTS: I love patchouli but was not very fond of this blend. I didn't notice the patchouli smell much at all. It wasn't terrible but just not what I was hoping foot

"Lovely Uni Sex Aroma"

COMMENTS: Made moon cake pressed epsom and sea salt mani-pedi soaks with this. All my "testers" (family and friends) liked it very much. It has more of a floral than herbal smell that is very pleasant, but not girly. The men liked it as much as the gals. Made a 1 lb cp test loaf. Acceleration wasn't bad and it is browning up due to vanilla content. It has only been 3 days, but so far the scent is holding up. I really like this and will use it for a hemp oil soap product.

"A lightly spiced blend"

COMMENTS: Let me just preface this by saying that I love straight patchouli oil - so I was personally hoping that this scent would be a little heavier on the patchouli end of the spectrum. However, it is still a really nice, lightly spiced woodsy blend that I can see making closer to fall/winter. The rest of my family gave it a thumbs up as-is, but I will probably still add more patchouli oil to it to satisfy my own personal tastes. It's still a really nice scent that holds up well in soy wax.
