"Smells just like Scentsy Marshmallow Mint" | ||||||
| COMMENTS: I used to be a Scentsy consultant once upon a time, but decided soaping was a far better life choice. Well, I've had close friends request several different types of scents that the company used to make in wax, but they wanted it in soap, and I've been happy to oblige, if I can find the correct scent profile. This scent was dead on Marshmallow Mint OOB, and it is so fresh and perfect, I wanted to take a bite out of my own soap for the first time! It smelled even BETTER in product! So happy with this fragrance! Didn't discolor too much either, especially since I make sure my CP gels. | |||||||

| COMMENTS: I am SO glad I went with this fragrance oil. I knew I wanted some type of peppermint for my holiday line this year, and was a little torn between all the choices. I'm beyond happy that this is the one I picked out. Its EXACTLY what I was wanting. It has a distinct candy cane scent (slightly different than a straight peppermint or peppermint EO), and then that perfect hint of sugar and vanilla. Its sweet, but not too sweet. My biggest worry was that it would be too overpoweringly sugary, but it isn't at all. Its A JUST the right amount! This one is a keeper for sure! | |

| COMMENTS: Worked well in CP soap. No A or R. Scent retention is good and strong at week 3 of the cure. Does discolor but that is normal for FO with vanillin. You can use CP Vanilla Color Stabilizer, adjust your color to "cover" up or let it do it's thing. I only gave it 4 stars because I really don't get the "cream" fragrance to soften up the peppermint but I am not as fond of peppermint as most so was hoping for a bit of a tone down. Otherwise, it's a great peppermint to use in soap and other products. | |

At first, when I poured it, it was yellow, and I thought YIKES... but after it dried, it turned white, and now it is curing to a very, very light tan. It does discolor a bit due to the vanilla, so you may not be able to get crisp red coloring in it for traditional Christmas peppermint candy look. But my customers loved it just the same. The scent is just the right strength and seems to have good lasting power. I've used this scent alone in my deodorant and mixed it with Vanilla Bean Noel in my solid perfumes. Peppermint Cream was the crowd favorite, mostly because it was mellower and less sharp than Peppermint Stick. Lovely fragrance, reminds me of a peppermint-flavored marshmallow and really perfect for the holidays. Next I plan to try blending with a coffee or mocha scent. Performed great in soy. | |
