Details

For melt and pour soap, pour at no hotter than 135°F, cool until hardened, then unmold—freezing briefly and dipping the mold bottom in warm water if needed. For cold process soap, lightly coat the mold with cooking spray, pour at trace, unmold after 24 hours, and cure 4–8 weeks; add sodium lactate if your recipe stays soft. For lotion bars, pour melted mixture (no hotter than 135°F), allow to solidify, then press the back of the mold to release. Wash molds in warm, soapy water and avoid dishwashers to prevent warping.

"This has turned out to be quite a popular soap for me. To make the different colors (black pupils, whites of the eyes and white mouth), use a pipette to fill that portion of the cavity. You can color the mouth after the soap has set up. They are rather difficult to remove from the mold so do put in the freezer for 10 min."

A Little Difficult to Unmold But Worth It

"Like most Milky Way plastic molds, getting the hardened soap out is tricky but it is worth the trouble. Poop Emoji soap is one of my best sellers and it's so easy to make. A little color for the eyes, let that dry, and pour the brown batter into the mold. They are easy to make and sell quickly."

Super fun easy mold

"This mold is really fun! I used it with melt and pour. I started with the eyes and then added the body color. After they were set, I popped them in the freezer for about 15 minutes. After I released them from the mold, I added the mouth color, while the soaps were still cold from the freezer. Really fun and cute!"
