Once melted, add cosmetic color, fragrance, and other skin-safe additives—this base can hold up to 5% total additives—then pour the mixture into a Crafter’s Choice mold and spritz the surface with rubbing alcohol to reduce bubbles. Allow the soap to cool completely before unmolding, then wrap it in airtight plastic wrap to preserve freshness. Melted soap is hot and should be used with caution; recommended for ages 15 and older.

If using this in a foaming scrub, can the pH be dropped to approximately pH6 when using this soap base?: We haven't tested this but you most likely would not be able to add enough to significantly lower the overall formulation to your desired pH.
Could this be used in a facial cleansing bar?: This soap has not been tested to be used in a facial cleaner. but we do have a recipe called Sea Clay Facial Bar Kit, the soap in that base can be used in a facial bar.
