Details

Cut soap base into small pieces, and melt in the microwave at 30-second intervals (or use a double boiler), stirring until fully liquefied. Once melted, add cosmetic color, fragrance, and other skin-safe additives—this base can hold up to 5% total additives—then pour the mixture into a Crafter’s Choice mold and spritz the surface with rubbing alcohol to reduce bubbles. Allow the soap to cool completely before unmolding, then wrap it in airtight plastic wrap to preserve freshness. Melted soap is hot and should be used with caution; recommended for ages 15 and older.

"I am so glad that WSP offers this product in a smaller size (2 lb). I don't use it often (I prefer the basic white MP soap base), but it cannot be beat for making soap snowballs, vanilla ice cream scoops, or stark contrasts between soap layers. When I look at it melted, it reminds me of cream--and that's the consistency and texture I like to have in my soaps. Accepts colors very well, too!"

Pleasantly surprised!!

"This was my first attempt at making MP soap. I didn't expect it to be very good, but I LOVE the results. It has a nice creamy lather and doesn't burn my private area like bar soap usually does. What is the % that can be added to this base?: This base can hold up to 6% additives. Just be aware that too much oil can reduce the lather this base can produce.
