"More cinnamon than pumpkin scent" | ||||||
| COMMENTS: Used in CPS and it was completely a cinnamon scent. Soap is only two weeks out and still very strong but so far not a pumpkin scent at all. If cinnamon is what your looking for this is great! WSP is my go to for fragrance oils and I’m always happy with what I’ve ordered. With that said, this one is a miss as far as description, but still a pleasant scent. | |||||||

"Too spicy for pumpkin pie " | ||||||
| COMMENTS: This should be called pumpkin spice instead of pumpkin pie. There's not much pie scent to it.. it's very heavy on the cinnamon and spice and very little pumpkin. I liked it OOB but after making my soap all I can smell is cinnamon. Real pumpkin pie has a more mild and pumpkiny smell to it. If you want a milder scent with a more pumpkin smell -- pumpkin vanilla chai is much better. Wish I'd have used that instead of this in my pie soap. | |||||||

"It is what it is...PUMPKIN PIE!" | ||||||
| COMMENTS: I switched to this fragrance from another company and this is by far my favorite seasonal scent. I've only made bath bombs and I gave a bunch to the wives of my husbands co-workers...the husbands almost took them for themselves. Everyone at the table was like "OMG, this smells soooo good". I hope to be able to venture into other bath products so I can use this fragrance more. Pumpkin is by far my favorite scent and flavor ever. | |||||||

"Great Fragrance, but title misleading" | ||||||
| COMMENTS: I loved the scent of this fragrance oil, and so did my customers. However, I was expecting it to smell similar to a pumpkin pie, at least have a pumpkin spice scent. Instead it had a very heavy nutmeg scent with slight cinnamon undertones, which I helped bring out by using cinnamon as one of my colorants. I love it, but you may want to think of changing the name. My soap name ended up being Cinnamon and Nutmeg. | |||||||

| COMMENTS: I used this product to make soap pumpkins with MP; I also added a little pumpkin powder to make it "true" pumpkin soap. Although cinnamon is the predominant scent, I can also smell hints of pumpkin, vanilla, nutmeg, and cloves. I'm new at soap-making, and customers are going crazy over my pumpkins! Both men and women love them; they are purchasing them to give relatives on Thanksgiving. They LOVE the scent! Although I still have half of the 16-oz. bottle I originally purchased, I'm tempted to buy another bottle now that it's on sale. "Perfect For Fall" | ||||||
| COMMENTS: I have only RAVE reviews for this one! I sell this fragrance as seasonal only and I have people looking forward to its release during the spring. It is very hard to keep it in stock as it sells so fast. OOB: You can smell the blend of notes perfectly. Nice and strong. Using the CP method of soap making: Scent holds well in soap, no ricing or seizing. It does accelerate a small bit so try to soap with a little lower temperatures. I now soap at Room Temp and I've eliminated the problem with any acceleration all together. It does discolor, but not too dark! I split my batch and add Titanium Dioxide to lighten it and it is fine...the other half I use copper mica to achieve a pumpkin color. After soaping I find that you can't make out all of the notes that you can OOB. It does tend to be a bit more "cinnamon-y"....but no complaints here - it's an awesome fragrance! Please never get rid of this one! | |||||||
