Product Details

Pumpkin Powder is a rich source of gently exfoliating enzymes, antioxidants, beta carotene, and many other vitamins and minerals beneficial to skin care. Pumpkin Powder is a popular choice for naturally exfoliating facial masks, body polishes, and decadent soaps. Produces a yellow color in soaps.

DIRECTIONS: Incorporate into formula, amount as desired. Common use levels are 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon per pound of base. Test your final product to insure optimal performance and no staining. Not recommended for leave on products.

COMMENTS: This is nice! Very finely powdered, which is nice. It provides a tiny bit of scrub, and a lovely color. It will harden into one large clump very quickly if not kept absolutely air-tight, however.

"Warm pumpkin facial mask"

COMMENTS: The powder extracts are excellent for a truly natural facial mask. I used pumpkin powder, coconut milk, cocount oil, kaolin clay, cinnamon and sugar. Pumpkin contains vitamin C, protects the skin from free radicals to prevent wrinkles. Coconut milk, rich in vitamin A, natural protein, for a smooth and radiant skin. Cinnamon plumps the skin and sugar to soften and gently exfoliate. "Healthy"

COMMENTS: This pumpkin powder is goldenrod colored, and has a scent reminiscent of dough. It reminds me of cookies without the sweetness, or pie crust, which I was surprised at. It smells nothing like pumpkin, but won’t over power any other scents you are using in your recipes. I plan on using it in pumpkin scrub and soap in the fall months. Five stars because I am very happy with it and there is nothing wrong with it.

COMMENTS: The pumpkin powder blends wonderfully into my face mask creation and is a joy to work with. A little of this goes a long way making it a cost effective addition for the benefits that it provides your skin. "light color, nice skin benefits"

COMMENTS: love using this one! Not a reddish-orange type of pumpkin color -- more of a yellow. But a very easy way to add pumpkin to your soap without the fuss of canned pumpkin.
