Directions

This base can be used as-is or with additives. Water-soluble additives (such as botanical extracts and proteins) may be added up to 5% by mixing directly into the base. The addition of oil soluble ingredients or oil soluble fragrances must be pre-mixed with an emulsifier, such as Polysorbate 20. Start by mixing a ratio of 1:1 solubilizer to Fragrance and increase up to 4:1 (if necessary), then mix into base. Water-soluble fragrances are suitable but our fragrances are not water-soluble and will not blend with this base unless the emulsifier is used. Recommended usage of fragrance load is 1%. Cloudiness may occur. Add some "pop" by using our Water-soluble liquid colorants. (Micas and oxides will sink). This is a cold-mix base base, so no heating is not recommended. It doesn't get any easier!

Warning

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wear gloves when handling. Keep out of reach of children. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Moisturizing and easily absorbed into skin

"This is an absolute favorite of one of my friends. It's a very good cream, even though I personally prefer one of the thicker body butter bases. I love that it is natural and paraben-free, as I do have another friend who has a rare, but scary, paraben allergy. Doesn't detangle

"Like the previous reviewer, I find that this doesn't do much for my hair, either. My hair is fine, and tends to have some dry spots that tangle. Although I appreciate that this isn't thick or heavy, it doesn't really detangle. It is, however, light enough that it doesn't clog a sprayer, so I might use this up as a body spray base."

I would like to add your honeyquat and bamboo extract. How much and how to add?: Both honeyquat and bamboo extracts have a recommended usage rate of 1-3%. Water-soluble additives (such as botanical extracts and proteins) may be added up to 5% total by mixing directly into the base. The addition of oil soluble ingredients or oil soluble fragrances must be pre-mixed with an emulsifier, such as Polysorbate 20. Start by mixing a ratio of 1:1 solubilizer to Fragrance and increase up to 4:1 (if necessary), then mix into base. This is a cold-mix base and heating is not recommended, so you can add water-soluble extracts or our oil-based extract emulsion directly to the base.
Can this be used in beards?: This is something that we have not tested, You might have to test this.
The bottle states 4:1 solubilizer to fragrance..but does not say how much of the detangler base goes into that mix. (Then mix into base) how much base?: You mix the solubilizer and fragrance oil together and then you add it to the base

Please check the IFRA guidelines to make sure that the FO that you want to use is suitable for hair. Recommended usage of fragrance load is 1%
