Product Details

Rose Kaolin Clay is a colored cosmetic clay that is very popular in skincare products. This Rose Clay can be used to thicken products and absorb extra oil. Use this beautifully colored clay in face masks, bar soap, bath fizzies and more!

This product is not on the CA Prop 65 list of toxic chemicals.

This product conforms to the reporting requirements of California Proposition 65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986). We are conforming to the regulation by reporting the existence, or lack thereof, of ingredients deemed reportable by the above mentioned regulations via a Safety Data Sheet (SDS), in Section 15 "Regulatory Information." Ingredients from Natural Food Sources (NFS) and are exempt from reporting in accordance with Title 27, § 25501(a).

Directions:

DIRECTIONS: Incorporate into formula, amount as desired. Common use levels are 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon per pound of base. If making a face mask, the common use level is 50-75%. Test your final product to insure optimal performance.

STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase. Keep out of reach from children and pets.

CAUTION: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and away from eyes. Do not inhale.

"Love this Rose Kaolin Clay"

COMMENTS: The foaming milk bath recipe with the rose kaolin clay was easy to follow and the results, AMAZING ! When I discover wonderful recipes, I make them into special gifts for my friends & family. I don't sell my soaps or lotions so this is just a hobby for me now that I retired from the working world. I enjoy experimenting with the rose clay so much I ventured out and purchased the french green. My rose clay soaps are wonderful and feel great on my skin. Everything is smelling like roses to me ! "Seizes soap"

COMMENTS: I'm very torn over this because I've used rose clay from other vendors and crafters choice in the past. Im not sure If they changed the product but every single time it gets used, it seizes the soap. Every time. From a tiny half teaspoon size to a tablespoon or more, room temp, cool temp, warmer temps... it didn't matter. Absolutely disappointed.

"LOVE THIS!!"

COMMENTS: WOW... we used this in our shave soap. It looks gorgeous!!! We also put it in our face mask line. Face masks are difficult because you want to offer different options that do different things and look differently. While those of us here with no knowledge of shaving were betting the clays would dull the razors, we were wrong. We made two shave soap melts, one with rose clay and one with sea clay, and then poured both at the same time into the molds. The shave soaps came out STUNNING!!

COMMENTS: I really enjoy using this product in my cold process soap. It colors the soap beautiful varying shades of pink depending on how much you use, but not much is needed for pretty pink colors. COMMENTS: Definitely didn’t realize 2 tsp in 32 oz of oil would thicken as quickly as it did. For what it’s worth, I added directly to melted oils (Shea, coconut, olive, avocado, jojoba) and whisked it in and then added my lye water. More of a dusty peach because of my dark oils. Will try 1 TBSP in my next batch to see what kind of color I get because I do like how it feels In my CP soap.

COMMENTS: I love love love this clay!! Most other clays are made for oily skin and tend to make my skin even drier than it already is. The rose clay works so great in m&p soaps, facial products (masks, soaps, etc, body butters,and makes an awesome shaving soap for people with dry skin! "Not only great for your skin"

COMMENTS: I mixed a small amount of the rose clay with a small amount of grape seed oil. I added this mixture to my melted Melt and Pour Soap Base. A beautiful bar! I also layered a bar one side base colored using the rose clay and the other using Activated Charcoal. BEAUTIFUL !

COMMENTS: I used this recently in a CPOP Ylang Ylang soap, and am quite pleased with the color. I probably overdid it, since I added 1 full Tbsp. clay for 10 ounces of soap batter, but the color is nice, eye-popping hot pink. Just love it! I'm sure you could make it a more soft, pastel color by using less. A little bit does go a long way. If you like to use natural colorants, this should definitely be in your toolbox.

"Perfect for face products"

COMMENTS: This can be used in face masks or in a facial bar, among other things. I made some facial bars with this and some other natural ingredients and my family didn't even want me to put them out to sell because they wanted to keep them all for themselves. Clays have many benificial properties. I like them all, but this one is really a winner. I will be using more of this product.

COMMENTS: My rustic looking HP soap pairs up so nicely with this beautiful clay. I like to add kaolin to all my soaps hoping to help fix the scents, so this one is a nice alternative to white kaolin. It swirles nicely, too.
