| COMMENTS: I love the scent but boy did it accelerate! I even used my go-to slow moving recipe with lard at 90 degrees and I barely had time to pour and swirl. I may buy again but plan for a layered design, not a swirl.

"Name is very misleading..." |
| COMMENTS: Going by the reviews and wanting a TRUE Christmas Tree scent, what's better than the name 'Santa's Tree Farm'? So I regretfully risked money and bought the 4oz size. VERY disappointed! It not only doesn't smell like a Christmas tree, but to me not even a winter or pine scent! Pleasant, yes. So it's not a total waste. If you're looking for the best Christmas tree scent, read my great review on 'Christmas Wreath' here. I realize different people had different species of trees, our tree was always a Canadian Balsam. (Chrafter's Choice does carry a 'Balsam Pine', but it's no where near the true scent).

| COMMENTS: Just like with the rest of my holiday line, I was having a lot of trouble choosing this fragrance. I knew I wanted some sort of woods/snow/pine one, but there were so many options. This one definitely hit the mark for me! I can't pinpoint exactly what it is...all I know is that it is a VERY pleasant and inviting scent, and it's definitely unique to the typical pine fragrances on the market. Oh, and considering I'm still very new to soaping, I'm actually kinda proud of how my soap turned out for this one, so go take a look! Lol...

"Accelerated Trace" |
| COMMENTS: This fragrance smells wonderful and I decided to make Cold Process Christmas Tree soaps in silicone molds. I'm a hobbyist making gifts for Christmas. I used a tried and true recipe since it was going in a mold. I had my batter at a thin trace, moved my mold closer and BAM it was at a very thick trace! I started stirring to loosen it up a bit and started glopping and plopping it in to my molds. I have a feeling these Christmas Trees will look like Charlie Brown's. Hmm...Maybe I'll just call them that if they look really bad. Maybe next time I'll just make M&P soap.

I was still able to work a design with this, but I think it was because my recipe moved so slow. Its smells okay. Kind of like a fake air freshener. I like Christmas Wreath better. | COMMENTS: After many tries to find a Christmas tree scent for my cold process soaps, I am really pleased with this one. I tend to stick with EO's but thought this smelled "real" enough to give it a try. It is fresh and crisp, with just the tiniest touch of sweetness to soften the evergreens. I used at 0.6 ppo, it behaved nicely in the soap pot, and I am very happy with the final scent of the soap.
