We have tried to have this reformulated for higher flashpoint but have not been able to replicate the fabulous scent within a higher flashpoint formula. The performance suffers greatly and we can't have that! Once you smell this you'll agree, don't mess with success!

THE best Satsuma orange out there!

"In CP soap I tested many (at least 7) Satsuma Orange fragrance oils from many different suppliers and this one takes the cake! This oil has no A R or D and the scent sticks incredibly well even after a 6 week cure. It is the closest in comparison the the original Body Shop version. My customers LOVE it! I highly recommend this for CP soap! Don't judge it from the bottle. . . test it in product. Super strong and does not fade."

"At first sniff I didn't care for it but I found myself returning for more and more sniffs! The mandarin orange has a sweeter scent than a regular Orange and I find this appealing. I made a room spray and I am currently enjoying this fragrance now! Very nice and strong! I love it. . . def a winner! Advantages: Nice fragrance for men and women. I haven't tested in tarts yet but I'm sure it will do a wonderful job!"

"We were really excited about adding more ""oriental"" scents to our line. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with this one. You definitely get the mandarin scent right-a-way. We didn't experience any other notes as described. Great H/C throw in soy Advantages: This would be ideal if you like the orange scent Disadvantages: 3 stars for non existent middle & base notes"

"fruity and fresh. spot on for the body shop's satsuma. No perfume undertones. Works great for blending too. Advantages: behaves wonderfully in CP soap and scent holds well. Disadvantages: none, it's awesome!"

"I've gone through two pounds of this fragrance in mostly CP soap. No acceleration at all. Beautiful scent, no fading after at least two years. I've made tarts also. They scent the room without being warmed. Buy with confidence."

Q&A

Has the formula changed for this fragrance in the last year? This used to be my all time best seller, but lately the scent has been fading really badly and now customers just brush on past it.
We checked with the manufacturer. There haven't been any changes to the formula for Satsuma.
