Reviews

A favorite

"Hands down one of my favorites to work with, don't use it to get a green color. It gets muddled in CP soap - BUT it lends the most wonderful slip to soap! My final bars always feel like porcelain and are silky smooth on the skin. It elevates soap to the next level."

Bentonite Clay was perfect in shave soap

"This Bentonite Clay was perfect in shave soap. It dissolved easily in argon oil I also used in the shave soap. It was a good value. I would buy again."

Great for facial bars

"I used this in my facial soaps. I love the slip the sea clay provides and it leaves my face very smooth. This would be great in facial masks too. I feel this provides a little luxury for a small price."

Love this clay

"I love this clay. It makes a nice lathering soap that gives good slip when making a shaving soap. It adds a nice natural color too. I also love doing a homemade facial mask using sea clay, aloe vera, lavender and tea tree essential oils. This mixture works well on sensitive acne prone skin."

Q&A

How are the 600lb bulk orders shipped? What kind of container will it arrive in?
This is in (6) 100 LB Drums.
Hi, how are your clays sterilized? Do you used different methods for different clays?
They are all sifted then irradiated.
What is the shelf life of your sea clay?
Clays can be stored indefinitely but we recommend using within 2 years.
Can you use Sea Clay in CP soap?
Yes, you can use sea clay in cold process. Here is a link to a recipe we have made: https://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/handmade101/how-to-make-recipes/green-tea-and-sea-clay-facial-CP-bar.aspx
The description says this us also known as French green clay. Most French green clays that I've come across the INCI name is Illite. How is this different, other than sea silt being the INCI name? Is it Illite or Kaolin?
Depending on how and where the clay is mined, the makeup of the clay can vary. This is why the INCI names can be different.
