Scent faded fast. . . .

"It behaved well in CP soap and the scent OOB was great. However, after just a couple weeks cure the scent was very light. . . . by the end of cure it was hardly noticeable at all."

Use rate for soap is VERY LOW

"I love this fragrance. I've been using it off and on for many years. It tends to accelerate, but not enough that I can't work with it. I think it was reformulated, or the new IFRA use rates changed, but the use rate for this in soap is now 1. 3%. That's very low, so I'll have to retire this one. My alternative is Dune Grass, which is 3. 3% and is somewhat similar."

"I actually rated this a 3. 5* in my notes. Used in GW 464 Soy with a single wick. Not as strong as I like but may have been better with a stronger wick. Definitely smells like you're in a Rose Garden just not strong enough for me."

"This scent has a dew drop/ Lily of the valley type of a small to me. More spring like than sea/ summer. I'm still looking for a good true ocean/ sea scent. The fragrance oils from this company work well on various applications in general, and the customer service is excellent."

"the slight acceleration note made me anxious but if I'm honest I didn't even notice! I made some salt bars with some European spa salts and it was great its a great neutral watery smell with a hint of citrus!"

Smells great!

"I used this in CP soap and it is fantastic! It has a clean, femine smell. Sea Glass doesn't really come to mind when I smell it, but the bottom line is that it smells great in my CP soap, and did not fizzle out or get too powdery as some other scents do."

Excellent!

"This is a refreshing Sea smell that does have a nice orange note to it. I've lived in the tropics and in California and this scent has that salty ocean tang while also being sweet and refreshing with an orange lift. Very nice scent. It accelerates very slightly (I was doing layers and this one got thick just a little faster than the portion with no scent) but you should have plenty of time for swirls."

Q&A

What essential oils are in this blend?
This contains cassia bark oil, sweet orange peel oil, clove leaf oil, and cedarwood oil.
I seem to recall that the fragrance oils had a more specific description of the scent than they appear to do now. For example Cardamom Mocha fragrance is described as "A decadent blend of bitter chocolate, roasted espresso beans, allspice and vanilla cream.'. Both Sea Glass and Clean Laundry are more vague/generic in their description. Is that information not available anymore? I use your fragrance descriptions on the label of my HP soap. Thanks in advance for your reply.
The descriptions come from our fragrance house since they design and know the makeup of the scent. We try to make them as descriptive as possible so people can, hopefully, imagine what the fragrance is like. Se Glass has listed the notes or fragrance this gives off. Sometimes the more simpler fragrances also have a simpler description.
