Cut soap base into small pieces, and melt in the microwave at 30-second intervals (or use a double boiler), stirring until fully liquefied. Once melted, add cosmetic color, fragrance, and other skin-safe additives—this base can hold up to 5% total additives—then pour the mixture into a Crafter’s Choice mold and spritz the surface with rubbing alcohol to reduce bubbles. Allow the soap to cool completely before unmolding, then wrap it in airtight plastic wrap to preserve freshness. Melted soap is hot and should be used with caution; recommended for ages 15 and older.

Wich base soap can I use to make lemon 🍋 soap: You can use fragrance oils in all of our Melt & Pour soap bases, most of which accept up to ~3% additives. Always check the appropriate IFRA category of your fragrance oil for the max safe usage rate to ensure it can be used in your application.
Regarding labeling of individual soap. Is this a glycerin soap base? I like to state on front label if shea butter soap, baby Buttermilk soap, goats milk...: Melt and Pour Soap Bases contain glycerin.
If I use this soap base for embeds on the top of cold process soap, how do i figure out to list the melt and pour ingredients along with my own in the correct order?: The SDS contains the ingredient ranges of the MP Soap Base. You will be able to determine the ingredient list for your recipe using that information.
If using embed paper, would I add a drop of blue color to make this soap even more clear?: When we've used this soap with embeds, we have not needed to add anything else to keep the base clear.
What's the maximum fragrance percent that can be added to this soap?: Our MP soap bases can hold up to 6% fragrance oil.
