I usually do not scent it because the smell is so awesome on its own. This time to me it smelled like glue. I called and they said nothing was different about it. I have to disagree. Several people I sell to said they really did not like it anymore. It's ok if you scent it but I really loved the way it used to be. Very disappointed. "In can be melted in water or bubble up it has a high ph so watch out if making shampoo bars may need citric acid solution to lower ph plus it takes FOREVER for these things to melt."

I've seen shampoo bars with SCS only. Why do you recommend SCI in addition to SCS? Brandon: We use it as an additional foaming and cleansing surfactant.
Can this product be used instead of SCI noodles for shampoo bars?: These are typically used in addition to SCI noodles in a shampoo bar, not as the sole surfactant.
What is the exact ASM for this product? The SDS sheet states 60-90, which is quite a large range. One would never be able to accurately formulate a shampoo bar. It could not clean or be over cleansing. Does your supplier have a more accurate amount?: This is the information the supplier has given to us, so it is all we can provide.
Can this be used to make a facial wash?: Yes, this can be used in a face wash.
Can I add these to my homemade cold process soap recipe to make it lather more for a shampoo bar?: No, this should not be used in Cold Process soap.
