Ideal as a massage oil or carrier for treatment products. It allows for the infusion of lipids (oil like substances) to hydrate and protects skin cells. Replenishes the lipid barrier to help hold in the skins intrinsic moisture while softening dry, chaffed and damaged skin. All Natural. Cold Pressed.

Preservatives are used to prevent mold and bacteria from growing in products that contain water. Based on this information, a carrier oil should not need a preservative.

If you wanted to extend the shelf life, you could always add Rosemary Oil Extract (ROE). ROE has natural antioxidant properties to prevent fragile carrier oils from going rancid.

"Good inexpensive oil in cp"

COMMENTS: In cold process, I use soybean oil either with olive oil to reduce cost or in fragrance test batches, I'll use soybean oil in place of olive oil (to save cost in fragrance testing). While soybean oil is not quite as nourishing as olive, when combined with coconut and castor oils, produces a very bubbly soap.

COMMENTS: I love the way WSP packages the 7 lb Soybean oil. I ordered it in the past and it came in a jug which is all but impossible to get the oil out in the colder months. WSP puts theirs in a nifty resealable tub/bucket. It's easy to open, easy to store (you can stack them on top of each other:-), and easy to scoop the oil out when it's cold. Plus the buckets are reusable. I also use Soybean oil in place of Olive Oil so it's more economical. What's not to love?

COMMENTS: I only use Soy products in my natural bug sprays, because it known to kill bugs on contact. Whether they have a chance to bite you first is unclear. This is a very nice and clear Soy oil. Reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because I find the price to be high. I prefer an organic Soybean Oil, especially because my customers are always asking for GMO free products.

"Bug Off Spray"

COMMENTS: This is a nice oil at a very good price. I use it as the base of my Bug Off Spray as the ticks, chiggers and mosquitoes do not like its smell. Add some lavender, tea trees, citronella, cedarwood, or other EO and you have an awesome bug repellant.

"Wonderful Soybean"

COMMENTS: This oil is wonderful for producing a strong bar of soap. I normally order a gallon at the time because it is easier to handle and store. I like that it has very little smell, compared to what you find in the grocery store, and has not affected any of my fragrances I have used in the final product. I will admit that I am currently phasing out this oil from my soap due to my customers wanting to stay away from soy products.

"Wonder Carrier Oil"

COMMENTS: This was the first time I tried this oil and I absolutely loved it. It was thick and strong enough to blend with the essential oils I use. The scent was also suttl and not as over powering as I assumed based on the "Soy" content. Will be purchasing this again in a higher quantity.
