Staff Answer Stained Glass liquid colors can be used in lotion, shower gel, bubble bath, liquid hand soap, bath whip/scrubs using our Foaming Bath Whip. This color cannot be used in making candles. This is a water-based color and you need oil-based colors designed specifically for use in candle wax.

Staff Answer The only color that might morph is the Violet Purple and Ocean Blue. These colors will most likely turn gray in your bath fizzies.

Staff Answer Migration is when the color of one layer of soap transfers into a different layer of soap. It happens most often with water based dyes because melt and pour soap is also considered a water based product. It sometimes can rarely happen when too much lake color and neon color are used to color your soap. It does not happen with most mica, ultramarine, oxide and pigment colors.

Migration of color is when it bleeds into another layer which doesn't give you crisp, clean layers. I stick with the non migrating colors for a better layered look.

Migrating color means that the color will seep to other layers in the soap , thus not making clean layers over time ! :D

Migrating color means it will move to other layers or parts of the product/soap. I actually don't mind migration as it gives me a very cool swirl effect that is a "surprise" when I cut the final product. However, if you are looking for crisp layers -- you will want to use a non-migrating product.

Migration isn't necessarily a bad thing. It depends on your creation. The colors don't "mix" together. The migration that occurs just cause the color layers to not be perfectly crisp. There are many times where using migrating colors will make your design to look more realistic, because the colors transition into each other.
