Dang it works !

"For years I have hated making lavender scented bars are my high coconut oil formula caused rapid acceleration with lavender oils. Ordered the lavandin as customers keep asking for something I avoided making. My batch size is close to 5,000grams with everything added and I used 120-130ml of fragrance oil to get strong scent. Ran a batch using only 60ml and dang if it wasn't perfect as there was no acceleration, and final smell is awesome lavender smell! So, it's expensive, but works at half the usage. Ran another batch last night and got same result."

Great Saturation. Beautiful Color!

"A little goes a long way, however, PLEASE keep in mind you don't notice the color change until you add your liquid base to your dry base. I learned this the hard way when the dishwasher became Papa Smurf for a week. You can also mix any of these colors with each other to create your own custom colors as well. Another winner from WSP that makes us look good!!"

The best!

"I prefer to mix my own dyes so I can get get the strength that I want per drop, so I'm glad this is a product that WSP carries!"

Best Bath Bomb Color

"I love this stuff for coloring bath bombs & bath salts. It's great for making products that change the color of the water. If I'm going for a very bold and vibrant looking bath bomb, I will use this in conjunction with mica. You'd have to use way too much of the stained glass colors to fully color your dry ingredients since it's water soluble. A little goes a long way to change the color of the water. So pair it up with a mica to produce a deeply colored finished bath bomb that will color your water."

Fantastically vibrant

"I love the intense color that comes from just a sprinkle of this dye. Fabulous quality, as always."

Perfect blue color. . .

"Woah! A little goes a long way, but saying that you get such a deep delish blue. We added a bit of mica sparkle to our liquid soaps & customers fell in love. Also performs well in bath fizzies for an explosion of color for embeds."

Great color

"I am just starting to make bath bombs and while my recipe still needs some tweaking, this color was awesome! A little goes a long way. I have had no problems with the color staining my tub. I absolutely love this blue."

Q&A

Am I correct in assuming, that your stained glass colors, purchased in small amounts other than bulk, are not to be used for resale? They have to be "batch certified", which you only do for bulk orders?
You are correct. Only the bulk size in the Stained Glass dye powders are certified for bath bomb use. You can use the stained glass liquids. These do not need certification since they are mixed into a base.
Why isthisnotavailableany longer in a smaller amount? I loved all the stained glass powders for making bath bombs and now I see they are only available in bulk.....so disappointing.
These powder dyes have been discontinued. This is the only amount that we will offer as this would need to be special ordered from our supplier.
Are these Batch Certified?
The only size that is batch certified is the bulk size or 176 oz. size.
Can these powders be used in liquid soaps, sugar scrubs, and solid sugar scrubs?
Yes, the stained glass powders can be used in all these products.
I've dissolved a mix of this and Apple Red in water to get a lovely purple, but when I added it to my baking soda it turned a funky green-- almost like floral foam color. How can I tint my baking soda purple instead of this awkward green?
You might try using the Stained Glass Violet Purple Powder instead. There may be a chemical reaction when adding the Ocean Blue and Apple Red dyes to the baking soda which are turning your product green. If adding a fragrance, this can also affect the color. You did not specifically say what you are making but if you are using this for bath bombs, there are other purple powders we offer that work very nicely. You can actually blend the Bath Bomb Blue and Red to get a beautiful purple color.
