"I was dissapointed with this fragrance oil because I was expecting deep, dark, fruity plums. It's a strong fragrance oil, but the "plum"/"fruit blend" is a light, effervescent, champagne scent. It's not horrible, just not my jam (pun intended). I used it for wax melts."

Can this product replace the grapefruit fragrance oil in the bath fizzy kit? if so is it a 1 to 1 replacement?
You can replace fragrances in our recipe. You need to review the IFRA statement for the fragrance in question. Category 9 - Bath gels, foams, mousses, salts, oils and other products added to bath water. This would be 12.9% usage rate.
Is the IFRI Usage Rate shown for perfume correct? Most other fragrances have a rate for perfume that is similar to the rate for lotions, etc. but this one is 10x that amount.
This IFRA rating is correct. The perfume category refers to someone making Fine Fragrance and Hydroalcoholic Products (perfumers alcohol). Due to a series of key ingredients, this allows for a higher fragrance load. If you are making a perfume from our Body Spray base, for instance, you would use the IFRA rating for lotions and washes.
