!!!PERFECT!!!

"This sugar is perfect for lip scrubs and facial scrubs. It gives the right amount of exfoliation. The granuals are not to big or too scratchy for the skin. It leaves great smooth skin without over doing. Awesome product!!!"

Great for using in a whipped soap body scrub

"I make a whipped soap and decided to make a body scrub with it and the sugar. The customers love it"

Barbara (5/5)

great for scrubs!

"I got this in the vanilla sugar scrub kit and got really good reviews. my customers said my scrub was not abrasive like some scrubs could be. I know it's just sugar but I recommend this sugar for scrubs! I already reordered it"

Jennifer (5/5)

Would no purchase again

"Was going to use this to make a sugar scrub and the product was very lumpy and it was hard to break up the chunks with a KitchenAide mixer. I usually love all of WSPs products but this is not one of them."

Q&A

Why would you use more sugar in soap than you would in a body scrub?
It would depend on your recipe. The recommended use levels for scrubs is be 0.1-3%, while the recommended use for soap is 0.25-0.50%. You can certainly use much more than 3% in a scrub, but this is a good max starting point for new formulations.
If I wanted to thin out the sugar scrub (using your vanilla sugar scrub recipe), how would i do that besides adding less sugar?
You can add more oils.
What type of container does the 50lb bulk option come in?
This bulk size is packaged in a 50# bag.
Is this finer grain than regular granulated sugar from the grocery store?
This granulated sugar is the same size as you would purchase in your grocery store.
can i use organic food grade sugar? would that alter anything?
You can use organic food grade sugar in your recipe.
