"I loved the smell of this! I'd buy again for sure. Smells great"

Do not buy!

"I rarely leave reviews, but I had to warn others and hopefully bring attention to this oil so it can be fixed for future lots. I just wasted an entire batch of lip gloss which is not cheap to produce. This flavor oil tastes like poison. I'm hesitant to order anything but Watermelon because I've had this issue with 3 of their other flavor oils to date. I'm very upset. I'll definitely be reaching out for a refund. Lot #2402-01912"

Terrible taste

"I don't normally leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to on this one. I wish I would've read all the reviews on this flavor before I purchased it. Believe every single review that says it tastes terrible! It has almost a chemical taste. It's bitter and will numb your tongue. It smells wonderful out of the jar, but that's the only time I can use the word wonderful when it has anything to do with this flavor oil."

Citrina (1/5)

Horrible flavor

"Believe all the reviews about the horrible flavor. This is called a Sweetened Flavor Oil and I have absolutely no idea how this has this name, someone should really label this for what it is bitter and makes your tongue numb. It's so disgusting I can't believe it's sold for lips at all. I have a wasted product of lip balm that I can't sell, not to mention the wasted time and containers. This product will make me nervous about buying other products because now I have a trust issue. Yes I used the correct amount, I was hoping after it was in a lip balm it would be better and it is less potent and with saying that I can barely smell it because I knew I should use less because it was so horrible."

Numbing Flavor Oil

"Believe the BAD reviews! The ones mentioning a numb tongue are true! This is NOT testing straight from the bottle. This is mixed with lip oils at a rate of 2%."

Even if you think you dont like strawberry!

"This one will change your mind! It smells great and tastes great in lip balm. I think this is my favorite flavor so far. As always a little goes a long way. I used the recommended amount in my balms and this flavor far exceeded my expectation. In fact this was the last of 7 flavors that I used because I am not a fan of strawberry scents or flavors, but I should have used this one first. It smells and tastes delicious!"

Q&A

Can this be used in toothpaste
Flavor oils are used in toothpaste, but we have not tested in toothpaste.
Adding to lip balm did not change the bitter flavor it is still there, because of the words “sweet” and “sugar” the first thing a person does is lick it , is there a recommendation of how to take the bitter numbing away by adding anything else to my recipe as follows: Beeswax 15g, Coconut oil 14g, Sweet almond oil 10g, Avocado oil 3g, This flavor oil 0.5g.
Adding too much flavor oil to a lip product can taste bitter. I advise to lessen the amount of flavor oil that is being used.
This product was once sold by Elements I've noted that it can now only be used in lip products is this correct or can it be used in other products as well.
This product is different from the Elements Sugared Strawberry. THis Sugared Strawberry should only be used in Lip Balms and Lip Scrubs.
Can this be used in soap or is it only for balms and scrubs
This particular flavor oil is approved for use in other products. Please check the IFRA guidelines for the product you are making.
When I tasted this, it numbed my tongue. I assume that's the bitter aspect. Surely it doesn't have that affect in lip balms correct?
You tasted a concentrated form of this flavor oil. When diluted in a base you will not have that same bitter taste on your lips.
