"I am newer to soap making and am trying to figure out what 3% means, scent should be 3% of weight of amount of soap used? Is that what the 3% indicates, by weight? If anyone has an easier way for me to figure this, such as 1 tsp per # of melt and pour, please do share. Thanks!"

"Not quite pear"

COMMENTS: Okay so if you are looking for a true pear, this is not it, HOWEVER it is a great booster for those lighter scents that need a little extra oomph. I use this in combination with softer fruit scents that are lovely but not quite strong enough to stand alone. I also use this in my hot process soaps and BOY does it hold up!! Not a favorite in the body butter because it's TOO sweet, but a HUGE hit in the soaps! I haven't tried it in CP soap, but if the way it's held up thus far is any indication of what to expect, I anticipate great things.

"Decent but with criticism "

COMMENTS: Bottle is about half again the size of a standard K-cup and weighty, arrived in a cardboard shell taped on and with the seal of the lid taped, I'm very happy with that. I dont actually enjoy the smell though and might consider an attempt to return it. I can smell the pear because I know thats what they were aiming for but also this fragrance smells EXACTLY like..Circus Peanuts. Not at all what I was hoping for but maybe in combination with other smells? Wouldn't recommend- but hey, if you like circus peanuts or have never smelled them than it should be acceptable or pear-like enough. Needs some 'tang'.

COMMENTS: This is a nice scent very sweet. However I'm not sure if I would say its pear. It's a fruity note with sweet notes added. Its a lovely scent and I've used it in many of my lines. It tends to be one of the harder ones for me to sell which I find odd, but I do like the scent and its strength.

"Yup, It's Pear"

COMMENTS: This is a very accurate pear scent. It has a bit of a candy vibe to it. So far people like it. It behaved really well in CP soap at 6% and is still going very strong at six weeks. COMMENTS: I ordered this scent to go with a recipe I found in the handmade magazine, and it really "zinged" with the soap. I put a picture up on our webside, and FB, and within a day, had sold about 16 bars. Customers told me they ordered it for the look(white,pale green with a brown/black mica powder in between)but when they got it, and smelled that scent....oh my! They said that was what made the soap!

"Take a Bite Out of a Fresh, Juicy Pear!"

COMMENTS: This scent is so sweet, you can almost feel the juice dripping down your chin. One of my first soaps and still very popular (second only to my honey soaps.) I have tried some of the other pear scents, but none are as perfect as this one. I find if I change the name slightly between products that helps sales because we all know that the name of your scent is critical. I rarely call my products the same as the name on the bottle! My soaps are called "Pear Juice" while my sachets are called "Market Pear" using this scent (and they also change based on the season or holiday.)

"Amazing!"

COMMENTS: This scent was more than I could've hoped for! Just what I have been searching for! I bought a small bottle and used it up really fast so I will be ordering more....in a large bottle! It is very fresh and just delicious! Just makes you smile when you smell it.....and want to eat it!

"So good you want to eat it!"

COMMENTS: I mix this with Vanilla Bean Noel and I must say it's out of this world! So good in fact, that the Vanilla Pear Sugar Scrubs I had went like crazy! I plan on utilizing this in other products, however I would be hesitant to use it without another scent due to it's milder fragrance. Regardless, it's still phenomenal!!

"Perfect Pear"

COMMENTS: I made soap with this fragrance and people were crazy for it at my last craft show. Some couldn't immediately identify it as pear, it has a sort of melon scent to it as well, but once they saw the label they would say "Oh, now I can tell it's pear". Either way, it smells very good.

COMMENTS: Just tried this for the first time in CP soap and the first day the scent was very faint,(I was disappointed) 2nd day, the scent was "nice" and by the third day it is VERY LOVELY! Guess it is one of those FO's that need time to "come out". I am really surprised that it actually DOES smell like a sweet juicy fully sun ripened yellow pear. 5 STARS IF YOU LOVE THE REAL TRUE SCENT OF TREE RIPENED PEARS! i still can't believe the FO is so accurate in CP soap. Yes! :-)
