MP Soap: Add color to a small amount of liquid glycerin. Mix well. Then add amount desired to melted soap base. Adding more will produce a darker color. You have used too much color if your soap bubbles are not white.

"I have seen conflicting answers as far as how much Titanium Dioxide (For Oil) to use in Cold Process Soap. I've seen 1/2 teaspoon Per Pound of Oils, 1/2 teaspoon per Pound of Soap, 1 Tablespoon Per Pound of Oils, 1 Tablespoon Per Pound of Soap....Which one is correct? Also, Should the diluted Titanium Dioxide be added to the oils before adding the lye water, or should it be added at trace? Thank you! :)"

"A Clean, Bright White"

COMMENTS: I bought this for use in cold process soap and it works great! I added a teaspoon to a tbsp of soap oil to brighten half of my 28 oz loaf. I didn't use quite enough to get the vibrant white I wanted (that's my mistake) but it still created a lovely, soft creamy white. Plus, it stirred easily in the oil and didn't leave any streaks. Good product - will buy again!

"Works Fine"

COMMENTS: I have a love/ hate relationship with every type of TD. The oil soluble is fine. It is very hard to micronize well enough to avoid white specks in the soap though. It resists all my efforts. But any oil soluble TD does. Nature of the beast I guess. But it works well once you manage to accomplish that.

"Very Opaque White"

COMMENTS: This gives me a very opaque white in both melt and pour and cold process soaps. I love the color and how white the soap turns out. Be very careful to mix this in with a small electric mixer, otherwise you may end up with small white specks. For melt and pour I suggest pouring with the soap a little bit cool so the white stays suspended. A couple of my pieces had some of the white settle but it was hardly noticeable.

COMMENTS: I've never used any TD and didn't know what to expect. I was glad I bought it! I used it in my lip gloss and it took the gloss from a barely there tint to a delicious kind of color (Sexy Pink Slippers) I never thought I'd get! I also added some to my powdered blush and it gave that wonderful depth! Why stop there, I decided to try my Sexy Pink Slippers gloss as a check oil, allowed that to absorb into my skin and then lightly dusted over my cheek with my Sexy Pink Slippers powdered blush and my (translucent) finishing face powder. Then I hit my lips with the Sexy Pink Slippers Lip gloss and I'm in LOVE! Can't wait to offer this to my customers!

COMMENTS: I premix td in sunflower oil, 12oz at a time, with a stick blender. Best method that I have found so far, I store it in a squeeze bottle and it's so much easier to use when I need it quickly. I never have speckles and I can still discount water to reduce glycerin rivers, which tend to be more of an issue with td for water.

COMMENTS: This mixes better than most of the natural colorants I work with. I use it in almost every batch to neutralize the yellow or green tint from the base oils and essential oils. It works wonderfully for the "foam" layer in my beer soaps, although if the soap is made with dark beer it won't get it bright white, but it does lighten it considerably.

"Really good white pigment"

COMMENTS: I originally got this in a sample set, and reordered it because I really like it. The white pigment powder is probably created by wizards as I am always amazed at how white it can make the most vanilla laden soap base. I don't even need to use a vanilla stabilizer with it. It does take a little more mixing then the average pigment but the results are worth it. I have had no problem with color migration either.

COMMENTS: I've only used this pigment in cold process soap. One tip for use, I put aside some olive oil from my batch to dissolve it before mixing in, it helps disperse the color better and cuts down on white spots from clumps of pigment and seems to cut down on the glycerin river effect. I also have a tiny little mixer that runs on AA batteries (I think it's meant for lattes and other fancy coffee drinks) that i use to mix my color and it really helps to get rid of clumps.

"So many uses"

COMMENTS: I use this product in all of my cp and hot process soaps soaps and it works so well. Mixing it with colors aslo gives me a nice range of pastels to use. It mixes easily in oil and doesn't clump!

"A must have product!"

COMMENTS: I mainly make goat milk soap, which lets face it, is not always easy to work with. GM soap is naturally a little darker color and can sometimes make it a little difficult to get the pretty light colors that you see in a lot of cp soap. But this is my secret weapon. Turns my tan goat milk soap, a much easier to work with, white and allows me to get a little more creative with colors. Love this product and it's always on my must keep list. And best price I've seen yet!

"Matte White Pigment Powder"

COMMENTS: White pigment powder definitely worked and made the soap white. This could have been me, but I pulled part of my soap out into a separate bowl to make it white (hot process) and by the time I mixed it and then mixed one other color, my white soap became VERY thick. I had even added water and my super fat oils so it wasn't super clumpy when I pulled it out. The soap was only out of the crock pot for about 1 minute, but changed that quickly. I will use it again, but will make sure that I mix the white part inside the crock pot. Beautiful when it was all done though.

COMMENTS: First off, this is a great product. I use 1-2 teaspoons per batch of CP soap, and get a great white soap. You really need to MIX, MIX, MIX this into an oil to get this fully dispersed, so you don't have any clumps. Mistakenly ordered the 1lb instead of the 1/2lb bag, but the good thing was I will have PLENTY of material for soap making. Highly recommended! *Also* There weren't any black specks in mine, like the pictures show.

COMMENTS: I use this pigment powder for oil quite often to brighten up soap that might otherwise take on a yellowish or green tint from the olive oil that I use. This powder pigment works great for creating a soapy "froth" of white on top of my coffee soap. COMMENTS: This is easy to mix, easy to use, and makes soap a lovely white. I added this to my lard/tallow/coconut recipe, which already yields a white soap, and now the recipe produces beautiful bright white soap. Some things that will help: use a little whisk to mix this into oil. A spoon doesn't quite cut it. Also, put the oil in the container first, then the powder. Otherwise, the powder just stays clumped on the bottom of the container. Great product, good price point, and I will definitely be purchasing this again!

"Great for whitening cold process soap"

COMMENTS: My main source for purchasing titanium dioxide. It works great for creating white design portions in cold process soap where the fragrance oil does not contain vanilla. For those containing vanilla, depending on the amount, the TD will create a lighter brown or cream color as opposed to white. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is that it tends to cause glycerin rivers to form in cold process soap - even when mixed well with some of the oils before adding to the raw soap. Sometimes the glycerin rivers add to the design, but other times it takes away from it.

"TD worked well"

COMMENTS: First time I used TD I wasn't thrilled... But after more research, I omitted beeswax from my recipe, and used more TD per pound (I used 6 tsp for a 4 lb batch) and I loved the results! Now glad I bought the 1 lb bag! Helped to dissolve the TD in warmed up base oil first. I shook it up really well in a small container and it worked perfectly!

COMMENTS: I bought this as I have read that it can up the pure look of simple bars of soap. I originally thought to use it in batches where I had no other additives to bump up the white. Now I have used it in multi colored soaps to bring the pure white through in color competing soaps. What I have noticed is instead of competing with the other colors it actually accentuates them and makes them "pop." Mixed with almond oil and had no problems with clumping. Highly recommend.

COMMENTS: I make CP soap and this is by far the best at keeping my soap a nice white color. I never used it with fragrances high in Vanilla so can't answer for that. It gives the soap a nice fresh look! Will buy again!! Can't beat the quality and price! Thank You!

COMMENTS: its good stuff. Used it in my CP. Not to make the soap white, but to lighten it a bit. I used a lot of olive oil and it makes the soap and deep dreary green color. I purchased only one bag. Next time I will get more. I can see me going through it quickly.

"Matte White Pigment Powder - For Oil "

COMMENTS: I love how easily this mixes with a portion of the oils used in my CP soap recipes. I mix a small amount in about a tablespoon of oil with a small frother, then add the soap batter and mix. There are never any lumps, bumps, or unevenness in the finished product.

"Perfect white in both hot and cold process soap"

COMMENTS: I have used this product and I like it so far. It gives my soaps a very nice white look. The only thing that I don't like is the chunky clumps when I'm trying to mix. Other than that, it does exactly as it should.

COMMENTS: I needed something to lighten my soap base and I wasn't sure which to buy (for oil or for water) since my body wash has both. It did lighten it a little but next time I'm going to use more and see if I can get better results. It's easy to use but I don't think you can use it as sparingly as I'm used to using my other colored powders.

"Nice, but why the name change?"

COMMENTS: I use this for cold process soaps when I want them whiter... I'd change the name back [to titanium dioxide]...just my opinion....but... IN CONCLUSION- WORKS GREAT!

COMMENTS: I use this for almost every batch of soap. I use the oil variety just in case I ever want to use it in other all oil applications like lotion bars although I've never tried this. It incorporates in oil well. I add it to my warmed oils and let it sit for a few minutes to hydrate well. I stick blend it really good with my oils before adding the lye water. Some people complain of it streaking when they cut their soap but if you follow my method you will have no streaking. I add it at 1/2 tsp. PPO.

	"Helps fight herbal brown soap"
COMMENTS: I make all natural herbal hot process soaps, which often end up brown. I can use a teaspoon of this in a two pound batch - blended well with oil first - and it helps dampen the brown so I can add other color for variation in my line-up. The brown doesn't disappear, but I can get something other than deep brown soap with it.

	"Confused honestly..."
COMMENTS: I'm really confused...could I have been given the wrong product? This TD is supposed to be for oil... and I have ALWAYS premixed my TD for oil, in a light oil, and had it ready to use in a squeeze bottle. I combined this TD in oil, using my same 1:3 ratio, and it literally separates after mixing thoroughly. Like vinegar and water, you can see the separation in the bottle after just an hour of it sitting. It will not mix with the oil, at all. I'm giving it an "average" rating because it mixed with hot water just fine... I think this must be a mislabeled batch?? Makes me hesitant to know which one to purchase now because I don't mix TD in my lye solution.

COMMENTS: Provides a nice white however, no matter what I try or how hard I try, it does not blend well in any oil I have used yet. I think I get it all blended and notice white clumps that smear when I cut my soap. I finally tried mixing in glycerin and seems to work a little better.

COMMENTS: Not sure whether i'm doing something wrong but whenever i use this, it clamps and doesn't mix well in the oil. I've tried premixing and using without premixing but the same thing happens. Does not mix well as my other pigments and micas. I am considering trying a TD that needs to be mixed with water maybe that will solve the problem.

	"Can't get this one to work well"
COMMENTS: I have tried both TD for oil and TD for water. With TD for oil, I combine it with a bit of sweet almond oil and use a mini mixer to combine. I still get TD spots in my final soap, so I prefer TD for water now. Maybe others have better results, but I don't.
