Smells like fresh flowers

"Smells like fresh flowers"

Donna T. (5/5)

amazingly realistic

"This truly smells just like lilacs. It behaved well in CP soap. It does have a lower usage rate, but don't let that deter you. It is very potent and sticks well in CP."

Stephanie P. (5/5)

Nice

"Fragrance behaved beautifully in my CP soap it has a slightly updated lilac that is pretty but still will have you remembering maybe older ladies from your past 🤷🏽‍:female_sign:"

Smeels SO Much Like Blooming Lilacs

"I bought a lot of samples of lilac fragrance oils and this one is the BEST of them all. It smells just like freshly blooming lilacs."

Liz F. (5/5)

Not in love

"This may be fine when added to other scents but on it's own it has a very chemical smell."

Laurie H. (3/5)

Wonderful scent

"This is a very pure, clean lilac scent. It is perfect for wax tarts."

Smells amazing

"No problem in CP soap. Smells amazing, one of my favorite scents"

Bobbi (5/5)

Beautiful

"Oh I love this smell! I expected a typical heavy, cloying type floral but this was so different! Light, and beautiful, you can even detect a bit of a ""green"" note to it, like the real thing! I CPOP'd my soap and it still smells strong, no acceleration, discoloring, anything! Perfect!"

Jennifer (5/5)

I think I may have received the wrong product

"I splurged and bought this FO to avoid acceleration and ricing compared to the other lilac scent that Wholesale carries. There were a lot of raving reviews on this FO about behaving properly, but when I soaped this fragrance, the soap immediately accelerated and then riced. It did not behave well which made me wonder if they accidentally sent me the wrong FO. The scent smells good though. I was making this soap for a friend who wanted to be reminded of their childhood with their mom and her garden of lilac flowers."

Q&A

Your calculator said use .5 In 30oz of soap but you said in a comment use 6% why? I used what the calculator said and I have no scent in my soap at all
IFRA Category 9 lists a max safe usage rate of 1.90%, so it's important that you don't exceed that usage rate. You can add a supplemental fragrance to boost scent or small batch test to determine whether it meets your needs.
Can this fragrance oil be used in a soy candle?
This fragrance can be used in candle wax. You would need to follow the manufacturer's recommendation for fragrance load for your particular wax. As with any new fragrance, testing is recommended to be sure the fragrance burns properly in the wax.
How much of this would I use for 2lbs of Melt and Pour soap? Could I use this in an air wick plug in or would I need to dilute it? Thank you.
For MP soap, the maximum amount is 6% but we actually recommend 3%, which is not too strong. If using a light fragrance, you can add the full 6% if you like. To take the guess work out of knowing the correct amount to use, try our Fragrance Formulator: https://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/calculators/FragranceCalculator.aspx. If using in any type of diffuser, we recommend diluting the fragrance.
Can thighs fragrance oil be used in a mist diffuser without losing its scent?
Yes, this can be used in a mist diffuser.
Is this product (True Lilac) an essential oil made from lilac blossoms, or is it in part or in total a chemical fragrance? I'm looking for a pure essential oil of lilac. If yours is a chemical product instead, can you tell me where to find a pure essential oil of lilac. Thanks!
There is no such thing as a lilac essential oil. This oil is a fragrance oil.
