"I think I may have received the wrong product"

COMMENTS: I splurged and bought this FO to avoid acceleration and ricing compared to the other lilac scent that Wholesale carries. There were a lot of raving reviews on this FO about behaving properly, but when I soaped this fragrance, the soap immediately accelerated and then riced. It did not behave well which made me wonder if they accidentally sent me the wrong FO. The scent smells good though. I was making this soap for a friend who wanted to be reminded of their childhood with their mom and her garden of lilac flowers.

"Reminds me and my siblings of childhood"

COMMENTS: We had several lilac bushes in our backyard as children. The siblings and I agree it smells just like spring and true lilac flowers. We personally love the scent. I will try it out on customers, but either way, it's a family keeper.

"Behaves in CP Soap"

COMMENTS: This is not the #1 best, most complex and full-bodied lilac FO I have ever smelled, but it is competent and pretty accurate. Behaves well in CP soap with no special pampering, and even allowed for a 3 color swirl.

"Wonderful scent"

COMMENTS: The scent on this is amazing; it smells exactly like fresh lilacs. However, it accelerated my batter fast! Being a floral, I expected at least some acceleration, but this fragrance left no time for swirls. However, the scent is so amazing, this will be a must have from now on.

"Gorgeous!"

COMMENTS: This smells so realistic. I am not a floral perfume person, but fresh flowers I love and this is as realistic as it gets. There is a small green smell so if you are looking for a green-free lilac, this FO might not be your favorite, but it’s certainly spot on to the whole flower. Strong too!

"DOES accelerate but otherwise fanastic"

COMMENTS: This FO smells AMAZING... exactly like spring lilacs! Despite it saying no acceleration, this FO did accelerate quite a bit on me while soaping at 120F. I think this could have been avoided if I had soaped cooler.

"Wonderful scent, no acceleration (from a floral)!"

COMMENTS: I was super-worried about this fragrance accelerating my batter. To test, I used small flower-shaped molds, three colors of mica, sodium lactate, goat milk, and honey, hoping for good results (but having a back-up loaf mold just in case). I stick-blended each of the three mica colors a little to be sure they weren't clumpy, and the batter did thicken up toward the middle of the pour probably because of my additives and the stick blending with the small amount of batter. It was still very workable and I got all the batter in the little cups with no trouble. The fragrance is wonderful. I used it at 3% and it's still very strong in my soap room, although it still has three weeks to cure. The next time I need a floral, I'll be back for more.

"Brings back memories"

COMMENTS: I can't say enough good things about this FO. It smells EXACTLY like lilacs and brings back memories of the first house I bought with my husband where we had a huge lilac bush in our front yard. Behaved beautifully in cold process soap using the heat transfer method, under 100 degrees. I used two ounces of FO in three pounds of oil and it's not too strong of a scent. Definitely keeping this as a staple in my soap stock.

"Versitile"

COMMENTS: Lilac is my favorite scent, and usually the most disappointing because it's easily made into a sickly sweet fragrance. I tried the CC True Lilac FO and was pleasantly surprised! This really IS a TRUE straight lilac scent. It's not sickly fake/sweet, and it's not mixed with any other scent (usually vanilla, which is AWFUL). I used this for a batch of MP and CP, and am now in love with this scent. I'll be buying it again as a staple for my soap making cupboard.

"Strong lilac"

COMMENTS: This is a true lilac scent, almost a single note, had a cold so hard to detect other notes, but it is smack you in the face strong. I like this one blended with another floral to tone it down, but if you are looking for a true lilac this is it. Recommend using less fo to start as it is very strong. Behaved very well, some minor acceleration, very easy to handle, no ricing, no discoloration.

COMMENTS: I’ve often heard that certain scents bring back memories. This scent is a true lilac. A row of lilac bushes separated my house from my neighbors house when I was growing up. "Scent is spot on. "

COMMENTS: A perfect lilac scent. This one causes zero problems in cold process soap. I soaped at room temperature and did a 3 color swirl. The batter stayed completely fluid until the end. Always a favorite in soap and everyone loves this scent in lotion.

"Best behaving floral "

COMMENTS: have to say, i have been making cp gm soap for a very long time and this is the best behaving floral ever. was able to do a spoon swirl and it was the same texture right to the end. i am testing this fragrance out as a replacement for a lilac that we have always gotten from another supplier. since we have had trouble getting it on several occasions now,( and yet another reason to get it from wsp), this is going to be the one i stick with. very happy with it for a number of reasons.

"PHENOMENAL LILAC FO!!!"

COMMENTS: I am so incredibly impressed with this FO in every aspect!! I have a friend who has currently deployed to Iraq. Last time I spoke with her, she asked if I would send her a care package of some of my soaps, and requested Lilac (her favorite scent). Immediately I was intimated, as I'd heard many stories of floral FO's being more prone to acceleration, especially Lilac FO's. I hesitantly purchased a smaller bottle just to try it out, and am so glad I did!! OOB it immediately brought me back to my childhood days and my mother's Lilac bushes she had in her flower garden bordering our house! The scent was spot on! What's more, this FO behaved PERFECTLY in my CP recipe... No problems whatsoever!! I was expecting it to accelerate slightly, but it didn't AT ALL, and this was in a recipe that also had Kaolin Clay, Castor Oil, Sodium Lactate, and a 10% water reduction! No seizing, ricing or discoloration either! I couldn't be more pleased with how well this FO performed! I used room temp lye solution, and my base oils were around 100°F. I hand-incorporated this FO at very light trace, expecting it to accelerate some, but it didn't at all, and I had PLENTY of time to add my signature textured tops to my 12 cavity round silicone mold. In fact, I could have traced my soap a little thicker, and it would have done just fine! I used 1oz/PPO and the smell was fantastic!! Made the whole house smell wonderful, and I am STILL walking around in "Lilac Heaven"! My friend is going to LOVE this, and I am so impressed with how well this FO did, that this one-time purchase will now be something I keep on hand regularly! The absolute ONLY thing I will do differently next time is buy a bigger bottle! Thank you WSP for another outstanding product!!

"Realistic & Excellent Hot and Cold Throw "

COMMENTS: OOB it smelled like it was going to be cloying and fake, but in wax it changed into a much more realistic lilac. Great hot and cold throw. I also tried Lilac in Bloom and this won wins, hands down.

"Something changed"

COMMENTS: I have used this scent in many soap batches and it had been very well behaved.,not any longer. Just made a batch and the scent accelerated. Didn't see that one coming. Something has changed in this scent. Nothing changed on my end. Using 4 colors I poured at emulsion. Soaped at 100 degrees. Had almost immediate acceleration. It would help to know if a scent formula has changed. This is one of my favorite scents but it now has limited use.

"Fragrance of the kitchen table!"

"Behavior in CP"

COMMENTS: This FO smells AMAZING, exactly like lilacs! However, this FO did accelerate slightly but not too much because I was able to do an "In The Pot" swirl" and have it turn out nicely (so no soap on a stick happening here). Also this FO riced slightly when we added it our CP soap batter with titanium dioxide but did not rice with our other colorants (which are micas). Lastly this FO did not discolor our CP soap.

COMMENTS: When you first open the bottle it smells like a potent detergent, not pretty! But DON'T let it fool you, it's just very concentrated which is good. Once mixed, smells like heaven in a pot, it is gorgeous. It does accelerate, but nothing crazy. At room temp and no time wasting I pulled off a three color swirl which, come on, is awesome performance for a strong floral. It should be noted that three days later and after I made another two batches with different fragrances, the room still smells like lilac.

"Smells like Indiana in the spring"

COMMENTS: This soap sold out in less than 3 minutes after posting it on my website. If you close your eyes you cannot tell you are smelling soap. It smells like spring when I would open my windows. Our neighbors had lilac bushes and when the wind blew our way it was heavenly. Soap at room temp in cold process and you shouldn't have any problems.

"Best Seller for over 15 years!"

COMMENTS: I have been buying from Wholesale Supplies Plus for over 15 years now. When I first started my business I wanted to make sure that I purchased the best smelling fragrances for my products (I have allergies and am very sensitive to fragrance). I tried 6 different lilac scents before finding this one. EVERY time my customers smell this candle/soap they rave about how "real" it smells. "Nice straight up true lilac"

COMMENTS: I used this in CP Soap. Given florals can accelerate, I soaped at low temp with a slow to trace recipe. I added the fragrance to warmed oils and added just after very very light trace. No ricing, it did somewhat accelerate but nothing unmanageable (I did a single color...I may have had time for a 2 color swirl but it would have been close.) I used at .8 oz PP and so far scent is strong and undeniably true lilac like you would smell outdoors. I tinted with a lavender ultramarine but I have not noticed any significant discoloration. I will use this again!

"It is True..."

COMMENTS: Loved by young...and the not so young!! This is right on the money as far as a True Lilac scent goes. The fragrance is not overwhelming in the least. You feel like you are standing in the middle of a Lilac bush but you are not overcome with the scent, just a nice lovely scent.

	"Beautiful true lilac scent. Seized in 5 seconds."
COMMENTS: So, the seizing may have been my fault. I usually "dilute" FOs and EOs with some oil from the mix, and slowly add to the pot. This time I was tired, and just dumped in the FO - my mix was about 110 degrees, and seized up immediately. Tried to dump it in the pot, looked like oatmeal. Ugh. Still giving it 4 stars, and I'll order another bottle and try again. I'll also wait until the mix is really as cool as possible, The scent is too good just to give up yet!

	"True Lilac Fragrance Oil 96"
COMMENTS: I've tried several different Lilac scents from other companies and had thought I had found the perfect one for me. That was until I tried the WSP True Lilac F/O. I will never go back to any other. It is a beautiful creation, smells exactly like the row of lilac bushes outside my Grandma's bedroom window as I was growing up, and takes me back to those simpler, happier times. My Grandma has been gone a long time . . . but thanks to WSP and this lovely scent, she is always with me. I have numerous customers who apparently have a similar kinship to this scent and it has become one of top ten requested scents from men and women (and their boys and girls who "sneak" their soaps and fizzies when they're not looking because they "smell so good".

"Exactly Like Lilacs!!!!"

COMMENTS: This is one of my top five faves. I buy a lot of different oils so I know when I have a winner. This smells EXACTLY like fresh May lilacs on the East Coast (US). There is virtually no deviation so order away if you love lilacs. I loved it so much I used the rest of the bottle scenting my baby oil, bubble bath and even my pillows. It's LOVELY!

COMMENTS: This IS a TRUE lilac fragrance. I also purchased Lilac in Bloom, which is not true at all - doesn't even hold a candle to this fragrance. If you're looking for a TRUE lilac this is the one to buy, if you're looking for a perfumy old lady lilac buy Lilac in Bloom - that would be the dif in my opinion.

COMMENTS: I love lilacs, and every year I can't wait for them to be in full bloom. The True Lilac fragrance oil smells as close to the real thing as is possible. Love it in MP, cold and hot process soap. Fairly strong smell that holds up well. Great for layered MP soap with one layer a blush pink scented with Gardenia fragrance oil, the second layer very light purple scented with True Lilac.

"EXCELLENT!"

COMMENTS: I hope I am not too early in calling this the best lilac EVER!!! I made soap two weeks ago, it is still curing, but the scent is amazing. I sniff it once a day to keep cabin fever at bay. I soaped at very low temps, and had lots of time to swirl and play. But, the soap is very slow to set up, and even after two weeks, kind of mushy to the touch. But I can patiently and happily leave it out on the curing rack to perfume my house as it dries!

"A True Lilac Fragrance"

COMMENTS: This fragrance makes you want to stop and smell the Lilacs. I use this in my goat milk soap. The fragrance holds up after the soap has cured. Smells like lilacs on a warm spring day. A much requested scent from my customers.
