"The other reviewers are right, this doesn’t smell like vanilla at all. It smells like random candy. Something must’ve went wrong with this batch??"

Not Vanilla Bean

"I purchased this oil to make Vanilla Bean fragrance candles. I was excited to receive it. When I got it and smelled it, I was SOOOOOOO very disappointed. It smells NOTHING like vanilla AT ALL. It's awful that they don't accept refunds or I would have rushed to send this back. I hate it and now I'm stuck with it. I should have read the reviews before I bought this horrible oil. This was my very first order and may be my last."

Not what I expected

"I bought this for my handmade body butter. I was definitely thrown off by this vanilla bean scent and never even used it at all, not even a drop. It doesn't smell like vanilla bean at all to me. I'm still a Crafters Choice fan but y'all should really work on redoing that fragrance. I ended up reselling that fragrance to a candle maker I know."

Smells like old candy

"Super disappointed in this. I thought it would smell similar to bath and body's vanilla bean fragrance but I was so wrong. This smells like Black licorice, medicine and aged candy. Ewww I hate it. If you're looking for a soft sweet musky vanilla this is not it"

Tobacco like scent

"Not pleased. Smells heavily of tobacco. As a 20+ year since I've lit one up former smoker, I'm sensitive (negativity) to tobacco fragrances. Waiting for this to mellow out as others had mentioned it did. Wish I could get the money and time waiting for it to arrive back. Used in cold processed soap. Coror changed as expected."

Did not smell like Vanilla

"Wanted a rich Vanilla Bean smell and this was not it. Was making solid perfume and it turned out smelling more like beeswax then Vanilla bean."

"Smells as can be expected from the name and description. Does not smell like cookies or sugary like some other vanilla fragrances, accurately captures vanilla bean smell however it's a little earthy. Great for mixing with other fragrances to create depth."

Smells like grapes? Not vanilla at all

"What an awesome scent! My family and friends love this scent. It has a true vanilla fragrance that does well in cold process soap. There is no acceleration or ricing. The fragrance turns the soap brown, which works well considering vanilla flavoring is brown."
