Doesn't hold scent at all!!

"I purchased this fragrance oil based on the outstanding reviews. . . didn't notice that all of the reviews were from years ago. My experience with this fragrance oil has not been at all like these reviews!! I am a very experienced soaper, and I have purchased many fragrances from WSP, and usually I have been happy. OOB this fragrance is wonderful. I love that the vanilla scent comes through. It soaps beautifully. . . no ARD. Very happy with that. Scent rentention? Not at all. My bars are 3 weeks into the cure, and they have absolutely no fragrance. I could sell them as unscented. So sad. I was hoping it could replace my Black Raspberry Vanilla, as I am not crazy about it, but it just doesn't cut it. May work fine in lotions or bath bombs."

"This fragrance is absolutely beautiful. Out of the bottle its this gorgeous, perfumey (in a good way!) sweet scent with small hints of citrus. When I first poured it into my soap batter, I got nervous because the smell changed dramatically to citrus only. The other notes I loved were nowhere to be found. However, as soon as I cut the bars I noticed that the scent morphed back to what I smelled out of the bottle. I really get the notes of vanilla, floral, heliotrope, woods, and amber. There are hints of the lemon and orange- but they are not the dominant notes which makes me happy. I really love this. Im going to buy again and use it in a body butter. It does discolor to brown, as pictured. I did not notice maroon discoloration like another reviewer said???"

Q&A

hello; the notes in this fragrance intrigue me and I'm considering purchasing it. However, I popped over to see what sort've questions have been asked and their answers. There's one question pertaining to the bubble bath recipe and the answer has the ratio of fo to vanilla stabilizer reversed. I went back to the recipe itself and the ratio is correct. I believe the answer to the older question needs an edit.
Thank you for pointing this out, the ratio should be 1:1. That error has been fixed.
I want to make a whipped sugar scrub with this fragrance do I need vanilla stabilizer and if so 8oz foaming bath soap how much.
This fragrance will need a stabilizer due to the high vanilla content. Depending on how much fragrance you are using, you would mix 2 parts fragrance to 1 part stabilizer.
