"hello; the notes in this fragrance intrigue me and I'm considering purchasing it. However, I popped over to see what sort've questions have been asked and their answers. There's one question pertaining to the bubble bath recipe and the answer has the ratio of fo to vanilla stabilizer reversed. I went back to the recipe itself and the ratio is correct. I believe the answer to the older question needs an edit. "

"I love it!"

COMMENTS: This fragrance is absolutely beautiful. Out of the bottle its this gorgeous, perfumey (in a good way!) sweet scent with small hints of citrus. When I first poured it into my soap batter, I got nervous because the smell changed dramatically to citrus only. The other notes I loved were nowhere to be found. However, as soon as I cut the bars I noticed that the scent morphed back to what I smelled out of the bottle. I really get the notes of vanilla, floral, heliotrope, woods, and amber. There are hints of the lemon and orange- but they are not the dominant notes which makes me happy. I really love this. Im going to buy again and use it in a body butter. It does discolor to brown, as pictured. I did not notice maroon discoloration like another reviewer said???

COMMENTS: I got this in a bubble bath kit I purchased. I would have never tried it otherwise so am very glad i purchased the kit that allowed me to step out of my fragrance comfort zone. It smells wonderful. You can smell the underlying sharp verbena but it is softened by the vanilla top notes. Smells creamy and delicious but tart and herbal at the same time. Lovely.

COMMENTS: This is one of my popular scents in cold-process soap. When people pick it up, they usually exclaim, "Mmmm!" If you like stronger, perfumey scents, this is one, though not too overwhelming. It definitely is a complex vanilla scent and not too fake-y vanilla. I bought this thinking it would smell fresher/herbier with the verbena and citrus, but those don't really come through in my opinion. So while it's not what I expected, it still is a great scent.

COMMENTS: Another review said they couldn't smell the lemon, and I'm thinking, what lemon? This is vanilla, not lemon. Then I looked at the ingredients, and lemon was one of them, so then I'm thinking, I never smelled the lemon either! Having said that, it is a very nice vanilla smell. Actually it was my first FO that I bought. Will I buy it again? possibly, but I will try a different one first.

COMMENTS: This scent is very comforting yet uplifting. I love it so much, I hope you keep it esp. at this price. A winner here and used for xmas baskets. Just love working with it. Very easy to use.

COMMENTS: I'm not familiar with the BBW version of t his fragrance, but I LOVED this one right out of the bottle. Used it in soy candles. Ordering more (4oz bottle this time!) to use in CP soap. Definitely a keeper!

COMMENTS: I've never had the pleasure of smelling the original 'Vanilla Verbena' before, but I know my history of loving their scents, and loving these recreations. This time it's no different! From a new consumer point of view I fell in love with this scent upon first smell. It's that comforting, yummy scent that's not too sweet, but relaxing too! Thank you for offering it! (Used in M&P and Body Wash)
