"Gross Smell"

COMMENTS: Ugh this scent is really terrible! It's got that heavy, vinegar-like musty smelling rose scent. Smells more like a rotten rose, definitely not a nice light, fresh rose scent. I'm not a big fan of rose scents to begin with but can tolerate them, and some even smell quite nice. This is NOT one of them. It doesn't get any better in soap either. I tried to use this very lightly as a mixer but it just smells bad, it went in the trash.

"Fantastic Scent"

"Not awesome, not terrible"

COMMENTS: I used it in a large batch of cold process soap. It accelerated extremely heavily and hardened the soap to the point that, upon unmolding a loaf only 12 hours later, the soap cracked when I tried to cut it. The ones in smaller molds came out fine save for the occasional air bubble. The smell is okay, though it has a bit of an u pleasant aftersmell. It might be good in a mix or in a much smaller percentage. I used approximately 3-4%, the recommended is 6%.

COMMENTS: If you like the smell of roses, this is the one for you. It's a very strong FO from the bottle and after curing CP. I don't like floral smells but some do hence why I use it but be prepared, this fragrance will fill the entire room for days. I used this in my CP soap and it accelerated my trace quickly so move fast! Also had some ricing :(

"Beautiful "

COMMENTS: At first I was super concerned. The scent was very strong in the beginning. It did rice slightly. But I was able to correct the ricing and the scent most definitely leveled out! Made the perfect Belle soap!

COMMENTS: I personally love Roses, but I hadn't had much luck finding a potent ,yet pretty Rose FO, UNTIL NOW!! This smells like a true bouquet,,,not just the bloom,,, with the fresh green leaf/stem and slight earthy aroma notes

"Smells delicious, accelerates trace. "

COMMENTS: I used this fragance for a cold processed soap, It accelerated trace and got really thick really fast. I did stick blend it so I think if you whisk it instead of should be ok. It will allow for certain swirls and techniques but nothing extremely intricate that requires that your batter stays liquid.

"Smells nice, accelerated and riced a bit"

COMMENTS: The scent is quite lovely but the fragrance did accelerate quite fst and even riced a bit on me (a quick whisking got rid of it). I started with very light trace knowing this would accelerate a bit and did minimal stick blending, but it got super clumpy and left my soap with lots of air bubbles despite my efforts to smooth everything out. I might look elsewhere for a nice rose fragrance.

"Smells Great! Accelerates "

COMMENTS: This smelled wonderful! But it does accelerate cp soap, which I expected. I dont know what possessed me to try to do a swirl of 3 colors with a fragrance that i knew would accelerate. But it turned out better than i expected. It wasnt the worst acceleration ive seen, it is manageable. just dont try to do a fancy 3 color swirl like i did lol! make your life easier. haha! It would be lovely in a solid color soap. The scent has faded some, but not terribly. I also tried this in wax bark and the scent has held pretty well.

"Scent fades quick"

COMMENTS: Smells nice OOB, a bit soapy already. But after 4 week cure in CP, scent faded. Doesn't smell like roses anymore, just like really old store bought soap. Roommate seems to like it okay. Did accelerate, but not the worst, able to plan around if you know ahead of time.

"Rosy Outlook"

COMMENTS: My mother loves the scent of roses, but she is having a hard time finding rose scented products in the department stores. Usually during Christmas when everyone is putting out little sets of beauty products is when she will find her rose scented treasures. This past Christmas though she only found one little set. "Beautiful scent, very well behind in cp!"

COMMENTS: This is a very different rose scent, much milder than I expected! It's not overbearing and doesn't give me a headache like most rose fragrances, I love it! I also used it in 100% coconut oil cold process and it was perfect! No acceleration, separation, or ricing, I was expecting it to seize or at least speed up! So far I've made a dozen rose embeds for toppers, figured I would test it in a small batch first since rose is a big accelerator! I will definitely order this again!

"Bought this as a sample - got a HUGE ORDER!"

COMMENTS: I got this as a sample and when I used it in a body butter to honor my mom for her 87th birthday several friends and a nurse caretaker(for my mom) fell in love with it. Nurse has her mom's 70th birthday coming up in a few months and she ordered 50 body butters in this fragrance just because she loved how it smelled on my mom! We are shipping to Jamaica! Everyone seems to love this and it sticks well in CP and is not overpowering in lotions or body butters. I can't wait to try it in bath bombs!

COMMENTS: I used this fragrance oil in melt and pour soap and bath bombs. It is a strong scent , which i love. It sticks wonderfully in the melt and pour soap. And i used it in the bath bombs and used some dried rose petals. They looked beautiful and smelled fabulous. Everyone absolutely loved the strong rose scent from the soap and bath bombs. And the scent retention is for a long time, months and months. If you have rose fans, you got to try this scent.

"Smells like the real Thing"

COMMENTS: I tell ya, I love WSP fragrance oil. I love this smell so after buying this type of fragrance oil from another company, I knew they were off the mark but I didn't realize how far off they were off the mark until I bought from WSP. I opened the bottle and a thousand memories flash before my eyes. I bought this months ago, and I use it in almost everything. I have used it in bath tea, bath salts, melt and pour, pretty much everything. I bought another flower scent from WSP and I love that one too. I am trying to figure out which one I bought because I want to order both again. If you buy this you wont be disappointed. I am rating this a five(5).

"Best Rose Fragrance"

COMMENTS: I've tried rose fragrances from several different companies including other ones from WSP. This is by far the best rose you'll find in my opinion. It reminds me of the rose fragrance that Victoria Secret carried when I was younger. It smells just like heirloom roses. It behaves fairly well for a floral in soap and the scent doesn't fade.

"Most Authentic Rose Fragrance"

COMMENTS: I truly love this fragrance. It smells exactly like real roses, it's just beautiful. I have tried different types of Rose fragrances from WSP and also from other suppliers but this is by far my favorite. It smells so beautiful and ladylike. I added it to a white base and added just a drop or two of liquid color which turns the soap pink. Then I pour it into a rose-shaped mold. I use .5 oz. per lb. of soap and the smell is perfect strength. I had no problems with it at all. I will buy this Rose from now on. I highly recommend it.

"Not your Grandma's Rose scent"

COMMENTS: This scent is truly amazing! Everyone I tested it with loved it - even the men! (The men admitted to secretly using the soaps in the shower!) Be careful when using it though, a little goes a long way. It didn't seem as strong in the lotion as it does in the soap, so I had to use a little more in the lotion to get the same smell. I will be buying a bigger bottle next time!

"Smells divine!"

COMMENTS: I'm not a fan of floral scents, but this one has me in love! It smells just like a fresh picked rose with just a tinge of amber musk. I love this because it smells very natural and it isn't overpowering. Some have said it smelled "old ladyish" but I don't get that at all. It's a sophisticated kind of scent. COMMENTS: After trying numerous rose f.o. and essential oils from a few different companies, I have decided that WSP Victorian Rose is The Best! In my experience it is the truest rose f.o. in CP soap and lotion, even after the cure and lengthy storage, and "behaves" in the soap pot. After comparing, I prefer Victorian Rose over Fresh Cut Roses because it seems to have greater "depth" in the fragrance - a slightly grounding note - that comes through in creams and lotions, and stirs nostalgic feelings of grandmothers and great aunties.

It worked beautifully in my all white CP recipe, with a 100% Coconut Milk lye solution. COMMENTS: I have (for me) a large order for rose scented soap, moisturizer, and bath fizzies. I have only made the soap thus far and have to add my gratitude and comments. I am not a fan of rose scents usually. They never seem to match a real flower's scent and anything less seems a bit "off." This scent is heavenly! I am so grateful to others who have taken the time to share. I always read the comments and often decide to buy or not based on them. The comments seldom, if ever, steer me wrong. I used this to make hot processed soap. I have been using the end pieces of the soap and love the scent that lingers on my skin. While I made and let this batch sit, the house smelled as if I had been delivered several dozen roses! I nearly bought a smaller bottle, thinking I reeeeeeallly don't want another big bottle of a stinky rose scent! I read the comments and took a chance on four ounces. Now I am ordering another! If you like the standard scent of a real rose (and I realize they do vary, but what most consider the Victorian rose scent) this will not disappoint. And it stays. HIGHLY recommend this scent.

COMMENTS: used this in palm wax and soy wax candles the smell is so wonderful has a light rose scent also used it in a lotion by far the best rose fragrances i ever purchase will buy more of this to try in cold process soaps.

COMMENTS: This is one of the best out of at least 8 or 9 rose scents I have tried. It is a true rose, not a cloying tea rose, nor an herbaceous rose. Just pure, unadulterated rose!

COMMENTS: I came in possession of a rose shaped silicon mold unexpectedly, so I decided to take advantage of that. This scent was perfect... not heavy, not perfumey. Very light, but definitely rose scented.

COMMENTS: What a wonderful surprise I got when I open this bottle of Victorian Rose FO. It is not over powering or too sweet nor is it to light. It is just right. The scent gives one the feeling of walking in a Victorian Rose Garden. I will be back for more. I am so pleased!

COMMENTS: I really love this rose scent. It has all the good qualities of rose with none of the overly-sweet notes. You can just sniff it out of the bottle all day long. It also holds up well in CP. I didn't notice any problems. It just smells fabulous! I can't wait to get more.

COMMENTS: What a great rose, very realistic and not "fake" smelling. Even my hubby the rose hater liked it. Used in CP soap; I had some problems with the batch but don't think it was the FO. Even so, I can't swear to it behaving perfectly, but I will try it again

COMMENTS: This is my absolute favorite fragrance! I put it in M&P soap, shower gels, hand soap, candles, always a beautiful scent and no matter what I'm putting it in the scent lingers in my house for days and stays on the skin for ages after you shower or wash your hands! You don't need to put too much in your products either, just use it as you normally would if not a bit a less:)
