Use unscented (as-is) or add Fragrance or Essential Oils at a ratio of up to 1%. Our water-soluble colorants blend in beautifully.
This is a cold mix formula, so no heating is required. It is super easy to create your own lotion. Just add your scent or other additives directly to the base and hand stir at room temperature with a spatula. Easy to customize with additives such as shea, mango and cocoa butter up to 10%. Do not exceed heating above 104F (or 40C) as you will risk separation.

COMMENTS: Absolutely love this body lotion! It’s thicker, but still creamy and actually moisturizes the skin. I tried another lotion and it was running and made my hands more tired, but this one is a 10/10. And I love that this is noncomedogenic for us acne folks (I checked the ingredients), this Esthetician highly recommends this product!

COMMENTS: I have never found a "body butter" as marvelous as this. I added some liquid color and Butter Cream fragrance. I get three 4 oz jars from a pound. Add pretty tags and boom! What a wonderful gifting item or sale item... if you can stand to part with it, that is.

COMMENTS: This is such a wonderful base! My customers absolutely love it. It leaves skin utterly silky.... often for days. It does have its own smell but it seems fairly easy to cover up, especially with a fragrance oil like Kai. The texture is really soft and fluffy and it truly does not leave a greasy residue. My only minor gripe is that it has dimethicone in it, which can be a bit controversial. It's a shame because the rest of the ingredients are so damned good. I look at it as a compromise for something that feels this good. Absolutely wonderful product!

COMMENTS: Love this base. Absorbs well, has a thick, luxurious consistency, and handles fragrance well. You DO need about 1/2 ounce per pound to cover the herbal undertones that are still present in the formulation. It doesn't smell bad on its own, but there is definitely a touch of chamomile that carries through, even though it states that it's unscented. For me, the trade-off for a marvelous skin cream is worth it. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!
