My best seller

"I use this scent in my soap that is named Bitterroot Forest, which is where I live. This is a big seller for us to both locals and tourists. People often mention how much is smells like the forest. It is a strong scent so I use less of it in my recipe that most fragrance, 2 oz per 62 oz of oil."

Excellent Fragrance!

"Excellent fragrance all by itself and blends beautifully with mints and/or citrus scents. I originally intended this to be a man fragrance, but women love it too. Holds up perfectly in cp soap."

Perfect Pine Scent!

"Used in CP Goat Milk Soap. Soaped great no ricing or accelerated trace. This is a perfect pine scent so it will blend with other fragrances really well. This will be a GREAT winter soap. Wish I hadn't played it safe and bought the 4oz. oh well : )."

JoAnne (5/5)

Windsong Balsam Pine Fragrance

"I do not like this scent at all. It is very strong and overpowering and the scent is not pleasing at all imo. I will not purchase this one again. I'm actually going to have to try and mix this with some other scent to try and salvage it."

The Pine That Rules All Pine

"This is the smell of pine that would be released after you muddle a handful. Not the sweet stuff, but the kind that actually tickles your nose a bit because it's so fresh and pure. If you want to do a Christmas pine smell that isn't too sweet and vanilla, this is the one to go with. If you want to do a men's candle that is woody, but not Christmasy, this is also the one to go with. Imagine that."

Q&A

Will this fragrance work with soy candle making? If so, at what temperature would you add this fragrance at, being that the flashpoint is low? Thank you.
This fragrance will work in candles. The flashpoint is the temperature at which a fragrance can ignite from an open flame or spark. Your fragrance will not combust if you are adding a fragrance oil to a heated wax that is above its flashpoint.
Have you tested this in M&P while base? One of the reviews said it turned the soap to tan. That will not work with the wholesale order I have. I don't have time to test because the order is due October 1st. I need a good evergreen scent that does not turn a white base. Thanks.
There are other ingredients besides vanilla that can discolor your soap but there is no way of knowing this until tested. You can use the vanilla color stabilizer with the fragrance to help prevent any discoloration. We have used Santa's Tree Farm Fragrance Oil 529 but we recommend testing any fragrance to be sure of the results.
