Useful in deodorants

"Great deodorant active, it does take a bit to melt it, but it's worth the trouble!"

EXCELLENT DEODERANT ADDITIVE!

"I love the fact that it is a solid that requires high heat to melt, so it adds to the integrity if my deodorant when shipping them during hot weather. I also use another deodorant additive that is in liquid form, these work excellent together at killing armpit stink, and all over B. O. , working on different levels of odor elimination. I appreciate to have found these natural deodorant additives, it's very rare & hard to find natural deodorizers that don't irritate the skin like baking soda and citric acid."

Deodorant

"First of all the list of uses does not include deodorant so I just use the closest category. Zinc Ricinoleate doesn't blend well will waxes and oils. The majority sinks to the bottom of the bowl and clumps into a gooey mess. What does 'blend' into the deodorant me beads up into hard ball in the deodorant. I tried twice and both batches had to be tossed, UGH! I cannot afford to throw away so many ingredients. I really wanted it to work. I followed the instructions for this wax carefully. It looks blended but the minute I add dry ingredients (arrowroot, baking soda,') this wax congeals and sinks. Why is this happening?"

No Issues

"I use ZO in deodorant products. This ingredient preformed exactly how I expected it to. It was easy to smooth out and break down in my oil base. PS. Primary Use needs additional options. I did not use this ingredient for any of those options."

Q&A

Can this be melted down and emulsified with a water base to create an odor locking spray? If not, can you suggest a product that could do so?ThanksMonique
I apologize we have not tested this product in a oil locking spray,at this time we do not have a odor locking spray.
Can this be added to candle wax? If so, what are the calculations.
No This product can not be used in candles, "Zinc Ricinoleate chemically fixes odor molecules that are formed during bacterial decomposition of perspiration"
