Fruit Salad Lotion Beads

Prepare your work area by gathering all of your ingredients, equipment, and the Silicone Mini Orange Slice Mold. Make sure the mold is clean and completely dry before beginning.

Combine the cetyl alcohol, stearic acid, kokum butter, mango butter, sweet almond oil, and squalane oil in a large microwave-safe measuring cup. Heat in short microwave intervals, stirring between each interval, until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.

Allow the mixture to cool slightly to approximately 160°F or below. Add the Vitamin E Natural T-50 and Fruity Rings Fragrance Oil, then stir until everything is thoroughly incorporated.

Add approximately 1/2 teaspoon of NuTone Orange Mica Powder and stir until the color is evenly dispersed throughout the lotion mixture.

Carefully pour the lotion mixture into the Silicone Mini Orange Slice Mold. Lightly tap the mold on your work surface to release any trapped air bubbles.

Allow the lotion beads to cool completely at room temperature, or refrigerate the molds for 15 to 20 minutes to speed the hardening process. Repeat the process, filling the molds until all of the lotion mixture has been used.

Once fully hardened, gently flex the molds to release the orange slice lotion beads.

Fill six clear jars with approximately 20 orange slice lotion beads each for a bright, citrus-inspired presentation. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
